How many hubs do you read in a day? (ofcourse other than your own hub)
I ask this because, I am getting a feeling that I am getting addicted to hubpages :-(
I usually read 5-10, depends in which mood I am. I think it's quite helpful to read some hubs, from the same topic, and then start writing as it gives you plenty of tips to follow, and possible ways to excel.
I probably look at about a five hundred hubs a day. In my case, however, it doesn't count as addiction, because I'm getting paid for it.
I usually skim the topics of "most recent hubs" whenever I load up hubpages throughout the day, and read any that sound interesting to me. I also check out all new hubs that are added by fans who I joined (you will get an email whenever they post a new hub). Together his is probably 10 or so a day on average.
Aside from that I don't do much searching or browsing most days. The quality of articles written here is quite high and reliable, so it makes for a great place for information and reading in spare time. There is incentive for people to write quality articles which really limits the amount of advertising and mass spreading of rewritten reviews that you may find elsewhere.
Sadly not many even though I know I need to just sit down one day and take one of my fans at a time and give their hubs a good read through...but there are A LOT of them so it would definitely take a LOOOOONNNNGGGG time.
I try to read a few a day, especially on topics I find interesting. It's too easy to just spend my day reading. Not to mention how much time I waste in the forums.
First I dont read my own hubs or I will be narcisist But, on average, Iread around 15 to 20 hubs a day. Yeah say it, I am an addict.... lol
If you don't read your own hubs you are an idiot. Always room for improvement.
Pardon me???? What???? Come again??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
every other forum is dominated by him drunk ignore him
Brenda, never seen or heard anything like that? It's not his fault, it's his family's fault, or maybe he's homeless...
he is very upset about losing his wife and dogs..... you have to feel sorry for him he just wants a row, but he is making a fool of himself and he will regret it....... he's been drinking for ages, he's up all night....... wish i could go and knock him over the head so he would sleep poor man
he's a dork.
his wife left him.
and he's still a dork.
Thank you blue dog, I can't seem to be able to use bad words with him even he insulted me. I think I don't want to lower myself to his level. His wife left him, but he is not the only one nor the lst one on earth!!! He should attract friendship and sympathy not hostility! I don't blame her..... Thanks folks for all the comments.
For sure! MUST kick him while he's down. Only chance you'll get to defend yourself, right?
I wish he is here PHYSICALLY... But he's just lucky.
If you really need to know what he meant. Read your own hubs now and again to improve them. I do and find little tweaks are necessary at times. Spell checks are a must. A word here a line there. Dork is right, read your own once in awhile too.
As anyone who's an owner of something, I can't see that there is any wrong with my hubs. I always depend on my TRUE fans to correct me and guide me, and by the way, this happened many times when they denote some errors. Thanks for your concern anyway.
I don't read that many every day..... but when i start reading them i cant stop.... today though got caught up in forums so have not written or read to many..... but have been here like all morning,
I read around 4-5 on an average and if I do like that Hub I make it a point to comment on that hub and give a thumbs up, in that sense Iam bit choosy over the topics I read
You are entitled to be choosey man. There are not much good hubs around here. Few are those true hubbers but the rest are just spammers.
Depends on what day it is. During the week-ends, I can read like 5 to 10 hubs a day. On weekdays, it's tougher to read hubs. I'll be happy if I can read 2 - 3 hubs a day during weekdays.
Back on topic, I'm still reading hubs about how to make money online. I have found a lot of great information. I have learned more in the last three weeks than I have since I was laid off in July.
it's amazing, wait until you've been here a couple of months. read and glean. read and glean.
Hmmm I've learned a new word today...Thanks blue dog
Glean, I like it.
Nice to know its reading Hubs has been beneficial for you Gemsong...I wish you the best:D
I read hubs of people who are my fans and whom I am fan of. I get a lot of inspiration from others hubs and when I read my own, I get ideas to improve them.
I read other people's Hubs mostly in spurts. I'll reach a big bunch of them when I'm in the mood to read and when I have a chunk of time. On busier days I may read as few as three or four that just happen to catch my eye. Most of the time I don't read my own, but I can see how the advice to read our own Hubs is sound advice.
i don't have time to read many hubs, although i do read them when someone fans me, so i can see what they are about. i also read hubs if someone in the forum catches my attention.
I try to read a lot of hubs everyday, especially if the person is new and needs the readership. I remember when I first started here, I received a lot of support from my "fans." I just try to pay it forward
On average, I read 15 hubs a day. There are some days that I'll read 30 or more if they're shorter hubs
I probably read about 5 a day most days, maybe 10 if I cant be bothered to write. I very rarely comment though, need to make a little more effort there.

Do you continue to read hubs of those you follow if they don't comment on your hubs? When you have limited time do you just comment on those who regularly comment on your hubs?
