How can I put am image in a hub on the left and the text on the right?

I often think my hubs look unbalanced with all the images on the right hand side and would like to be able to put an image on the left and the text on the right occasionally, but have not yet found out how to do this.

I think you might only be capable of doing this with web HTML program coding.

You can only put images on the right hand side on Hubpages

I believe that HubPages has set up the capsules this way (text on left, image on right) because this is the most appealing look to readers.  The only way I know of reversing this is by creating a slide in PowerPoint that consists of your image on the left and your text on the right.  Then save this particular slide as a jpg and insert it in your hub as a photo.  Make it full width.  Hope this helps.

That is a good approach. I have thought about it, but never tried it. Did the type remain clear or did it lose some of its clarity.

In answer to Larry's question: the type remained quite clear but not perfect.  See my hub: "Guide to Removing Dangerous Fall Risks..." the actual Guide part is done as a photo and the section that says this article is for you includes photo and type.

I have tried.  I don't think there is a way to do it.  If you want to put 2 pictures side by side, you have to photoshop the 2 pictures together and make it "1 image".  Then put the "1 image" of the 2 pictures into a full width photo capsule.

I believe this is done because we read left to right. People also read more of your content towards and tend to skim as you get closer to the bottom of an article. You really only have a few seconds to get someone's attention so you want to grab it in the first couple lines.
