   Nothing should happen to them and you are entitled to a vacation once in awhile just like all other writers in the community.  Even if you take a break from typing for a few days.  Most likely those views will either remain the same, or maybe even increase.  It all depends not so much on your articles, but also on how many individuals, during a particular day of a given week are searching for the particular information contained in your hubs, and/or titles of your hub articles for example. And if you had just written a few new articles before taking a breather for a couple of days...well, your HP views in turn may even increase more during your absence.  So don't fret!  Enjoy yourself and take those few days  in between if you wish.

      I think that is the greatest thing about article writing like Hubpages, it is almost a passive income.  You write when you have time and ideas and the money rolls in for years to come.

   Nothing, my traffic usually remains steady whether I sign in or not.  However, the traffic receives a small boost after publishing a new hub.

   For a few days nothing. Hell, I was gone for a whole month and my traffic actually went up a little. I think there is going to be a natural ebb and flow no matter what you do. You shouldn't worry about it that much.

   My experience has been similar to the others who have answered this question.
   My hub views may fluctuate a little bit, as they do even when I'm active on a daily basis, but I don't see a big overall change.

   I agree with everyone else. I don't do much and my hubs tick away; in actual fact my husband hasn't been online for several months, has less hubs than I do and earns almost as much as I do without doing anything.
   
   I believe it depends on the type of traffic you are dependent on; if you only get HP traffic you have to keep present to get people to go to your hubs, however if you get search engine (google) traffic your hubs will carry on regardless, unless of course there is a google update that gets you

   Absolutely nothing. The views remain the same for the most part regardless of how often I check the account. I went three months once without checking my account. When I logged in, I was pleased to see I had earned over 150 dollars. Weekends your views will be lower, so will summer, but winter and weekdays, you will have more!

   If you are away for a few days this will not affect your Hubpage views. You can be home or away and it still drops or go up!

   Nothing really happens much. It just goes up and down a little. Weekends are the traffic lesser that in the middle of the week. Well, that´s how I noticed it. So, nothing to worry about.

    I get traffic mostly from search engine. So it does not matter whether I am active in the site or not. I keep generating page impressions consistently from search engine. That what makes life much easier

    The fact that you are not on HP for a few days doesn't affect your views. Though writing new hubs does increase your daily view total. But most likely it's not by a lot so if you can't be on HP for a few days nothing much to worry about. You will make up for it in the end.

    You catch up on them on your return, when you plough through your e-mails and discard what you can't really handle (let's face it, we'd be here to Christmas/Yuletide/Diwali/Hamacher/Kingdom Come* if we looked into every one). I'm away for several days a few times a year, when I have no Internet link, and dive into my e-mails the same evening I get home, or else split the task into two sessions (yes, I get that many)!

    I respectfully disagree with many of the comments. I actually hope that I am proved wrong, but my recent experience suggests otherwise. Recently, a couple of months ago, I went off of HP because of my personal and professional commitments. At that time, I was receiving an average of 1800-2400 page views per day. Many of published hubs were on Google's 1st ranks - for as long as I knew.
    
    However, after a couple of months break, my page views fell down to 600-800 views per day. My hubs that were on Google's 1st ranks dropped down to lower ranks. I'm still in the recovering phase. After spending some days and publishing a couple of hubs, right now my page views are around 1100-1300.
    
    So, as you can see, it is directly dependant on our HP activity - which includes: forums, publishing hubs, Q/A and commenting. Right now, I'm in the phase of recovery and you can see that my hubs' views are increasing again, albeit slowly and gradually.

       Correlation is not causation... While there may be a correlation between your absence and the decline in number of page views you are recieving there may be another variable that you aren't considering that could be the real cause. Just a thought.

    If it's only for a few days, I would say "no worries", it will be fine. You have great hubs and they will thrive on their own. If you have keywords setup and you have good traffic, chances are that will continue. If I am away or too busy and a few days or a week goes by and I cannot spend much time with postings, I use the iPhone app for hubpages to check my score and activity occasionally, and even visit some hubs via the hub hopper and add an occasional post to boost activity.
