   When do you decide to follow another hubber?
   
   I am new here on hubpages and have only 1 fan so far so when do people start following other hubbers? I see hubbers with hundreds of followers. What do you think is the key to such success?

   I do not know what the key to success is with other hubbers. I tend to follow people who have taken the time to give me feedback, answer my questions and/or seem interesting or kind.

   I usually check out the profiles of people who leave comments on my hubs or who I see  lot here in the "answers" section. I also usually check out profiles of new people like you who take the time to introduce themselves. If they have at least a few hubs so I can see the kind of topics they write about and they're topics which peak my interest, I'll usually follow them. Since I'm not into recipes, poetry, and some other things, I usually won't follow someone if that's the only kind of hubs they write. That said, I'll pop over to your profile now.

      I suppose it does make sense to follow people who pique ones interest or else it becomes redundant sort of. I would much appreciate if you did although I still do not have too many hubs yet. Will definitely diversify my hubs more in the future.

   To be honest, I do try to diversify. I like experienced hubbers with original ideas, but new hubbers like yourself, need feedback and encouragement also. I will make it a point to visit your hub.
