Erratic statistics

   Good day. I would just like to highlight that the statistics for hubs are not functioning as they should - it has been a couple of hours and they are not moving. Even if  people are slow to read hubs, there is at least a bit of movement on the readings. Further, people have been trying to leave comments on my hubs but are not able to. I know that they have followed the hub, but cannot leave comments. Could this problem be rectified because it is rather worrying.

      Mine are showing 6 hours out of date and I am having a lot of trouble refreshing my page and seeing the feed.  It either times out or tells me it is unavailable.

         Yes. The stats should move, even if slowly, because at least a few people will go in to read them.

   If you look down at the very bottom of your hubs statistics page it tells you how long ago the statistics were upadated. Mine have not been updated in 6 hours, and I assume it's the same for everyone across the site. (Not sure, though.) Usually it is updated about every 60-70 minutes. This same slowdown was happening the other day, also. I'm not sure if it's a glitch or if it is temporarily stopped because of maintenance on the site, or some reason like that. The numbers will be updated eventually, I'm sure.

         As mentioned, this happened the other day and then corrected itself.  One would presume HP is doing some updating and such on the site when this happens.
         
         Another thread is in reference to the newsfeed not loading, however that also cleared up after a few hours.
         
         Same with the showing of broken YouTube links.... once tested they reverted back to not being broken. That could either be a YouTube glitch or a HP glitch.
         
         I reckon the important thing is that these web gremlins seemingly are only hungry for a short period of time, just munching for a few hours, then moving on!
