   Hello Staff,
   
   I'm wondering if there's now a problem with the Statistics page. It hasn't updated in a couple of hours.
   
   Is anyone else have this problem?

      I noticed last night the javascript is being edited/updated.
      Had trouble loading pages, links, etc.
      Actually saw the "White Screen of Death" and several error messages in-browser.

         I haven't even been up for 8 hours yet, so I wouldn't say it's been stuck that long.
         
         Mine was updating or appearing to update when I first got on this morning, but when HubPages went down for maintenance, then I noticed my statistics page has not changed, since.

   My update time keeps changing from 7 hours to 3 hours to 2 hours and back to 7 hours however my viewing figure has not changed since 10am UK time today

      That's it!  They shut off the stats to keep us all occupied while the home remodel is going on.
      
      Moving ranks right up there, stress-wise, with marriage and job change, you know - a total remodel can't be far behind.

      Last evening on my profile, my name was in huge blue letters and linked to the same page when you clicked on it... it was back to normal this morning. 
      
      My stats seem to be working, but I don't check them too often during the day. Mine have moved up since this morning.

      My statistics page changes regularly, no noticeable problems there, however my  earnings number iitself hasn't changed in days, maybe as long as a week. Is this the same bug y'all are talking about? (newbie when it comes to this stuff).

   I actually hope it's a bug and not the bottom dropping out of my traffic!  But my (traffic) stats have not changed an ounce over the last hour or two - but the time has changed ("last updated").  Are any engineers still in the office to look at it before the weekend hits with full force?  Unless it's just me.   
   
   Is anyone else seeing this?

      Sorry for the stats delays.
      We had similar delays earlier this week (13th and 14th that I know of).
      I have sent a message to see if we can track down the issue.
      
      These reports almost got lost in this old thread.
      
      Once we track down this one, if you see such an issue again, please make a new forum thread unless there is a recent one that is appropriate.

            I sent this to our engineering team, so hopefully we can get it fixed soon.
            If anyone notices it catch up to current before I do, a post here would be much appreciated as I probably won't be back in the forums until Monday.

                  My stats have changed too, but the time message still says "last updated 18 hours ago." Gaaack! I really do hope that these numbers are that old. I know it's the weekend now, but it still looks kind of awful.

            Well, yes, they are not too awful really for a Friday evening. We'll see how the weekend and next week go. 
            
            The thing is, the last few days have really, and I mean really, been looking good. I was hoping it was a new normal! and then they got stuck.  But, since it's Friday, I won't worry and will just wait and see how next week goes.

             Yes.  Analytics doesn't collect data until you sign up.  So there is nothing yet for them to report - wait a week or so and you will see data begin to accumulate.

    My statistics have not updated for 34 hours now, but my earnings updated earlier today. How is this possible?
    
    Secondly, I am still showing no views or earnings for Saturday 11th August, although I certainly did receive views that day.

    It takes 24 hours for Google analytics to analyze information and display results.
    
    The stats page now says the last update was 2 hours ago, but the numbers on my page haven't changed in well over 12!

       On the top left corner of the 'standard report' tab, you can click the arrow and choose the date you want stats for - choose today's date and it'll give you quite accurate stats for today from midnight up to about half an hour ago.

    The stuck stats had gotten unstuck and had updated, I'm happy to say; but they seem to be stuck again. They haven't updated now in six hours. - - - info provided for the engineers in their ongoing troubleshooting. (Thanks!)

       I'm glad you said that! I've just come online (its morning here) and either my stats are stuck, or my traffic has stopped!
       
       Actually I thought it might be the latter, Analytics is way down too
       
       The site didn't go offline, did it?
       
       I know it went offline for about half an hour a week ago, but no-one forum posted about it so I let it be. That was the second time I was aware of it going completely offline in a matter of weeks.

          Monday afternoon here and my stats are still stuck for several hours ago.. they had been stuck for a day and a half before I slept so they have updated at least once since then.. but stuck again (at my lowest point in the week so they don't make good viewing!)

             Total madness here last week with all the family here. Had to cook two meals a day for 13!! (I don't do breakfast). No time to hub, but back to normal this week.
             
             Over a year now and my traffic never returned, but there is the odd hub getting Google traffic which is weird. Hubs that have not seen a search engine view for months, never mind Google.
             
             Not a lot of traffic, just one or two hits really, but its as if Google is suddenly seeing them again, but doesn't really like them

    When this thread was first opened, someone joked that it might be related to the new profile page. I wonder if there actually is some connection, i.e., that some coding got messed up a little bit and all the new profiles have caused whatever the problem is to surface again.

    I check my stats regularly.  I like to see what is happening in one easy place. Although Analytics gives you lots of information, the stats are a simple and very useful snapshot.
    
    I am trying to find out what works and earn money here.  Stats are really important to me.
    
    I hate computer people, management, anyone who provides a service and then tinkers with it.  A reliable service is worth far more than some fancy tweak that might or might not work - but hey - don't worry - we can spend the next month farting around with it till we get it right.
    
    Write stuff, get traffic, make a little money.
    
    That's what I'm trying to do.
    
    Perhaps people could stop trying to screw it up for me,.

    I kinda like where the stats are stuck for me...best stats I've had in a while. (I think someone earlier on in this thread said something similar...Cags?) So, HP, just keep those numbers for me now until I write a few more hubs, and I'll be happy with the Ad Program results if they continue to poll over the stuck stats in the days to come.

                   It is like day trading. The information is available elsewhere, but having it show real-time somehow triggers thoughts that otherwise would not be triggered.

       My stats updated just once in 24 hours. This seems to be a problem for the last couple of days only. It's causing me a bit of stress because I have just posted a new hub. I know some people will have read it, but when the stats don't update I can't see that. I hope this problem gets sorted soon.

    I hope we get an update soon or the site will get more stable and it will be updated again like normal.
    It's very annoying that I can't see my stats and draw my consequences on the newest hubs for more than 2 days now.

    Are there still issues with the traffic reporting?  When the traffic sources glitch happened, my views dropped from like 70 a day down to 10.  It's still around 10-20 a day.   Is there something else wrong or have I missed something here?

       We did have some issues related to stats being delayed, but we should gradually be catching up on them.
       
       Current stats should be fine.
       
       Even the best Hubs experience eb and flow related to traffic.
       So it doesn't sound like a bug, but keep your eye out and if you have something that contradicts your current stats (Google Analytics, etc) then please let us know and we can help you determine what might be going on.

    As far as I know, there were no recent updates/actions taken that would cause your problem, Vampsdes .
    On the other hand, my stat updates seem to be back to normal... again. Hopefully this will last much longer than the previous one.
