I can imagine a cyber "LOL" offline would raise some eyebrows.
oK I didn't come up with anything funny but i got something else altogether. A couple suspected their nanny of stealing and set up a nanny cam to catch her red handed and hand her over to the police. But instead of nabbing the thief the nanny cam recorded something else altogether which sent the couple into fear and depression. The couples 3 year old daughter had just recently passed away after a freak drowning in their pool. When the video plays please watch the rocking chair closely. Its a very short quickly taken clip, so when the video plays right from the start watch the rocking chair.

Finally found my way here. I don't have anything to contribute right this minute, but I'll think about it while we're out for our Sunday stroll in the winter sunshine!

Today was back to a warm Southern California day, so I had a really good one. I worked, and I even got to walk home in the sunshine. I stopped at the store and looked at some crafts to get new ideas, and by the time I got home the moon was rising above the mountains. It was so beautiful and I just had to take pictures, like I like to do. What a great day this was!
I can vouch for that, things were a bit back to normal today, no crazy winds, sunshine and more sunshine, socal in the house!
I envy you guys for the warm sunshine weather. Here it is raining continuously for the past few days (Thank God at least there is no snow)
Have you ever been around the Cajon Pass when the SoCal winds start blowing? They have some of the worst there for sure .
I have been to LA (Disney land/Universal Studios) but not the whole of LA so I guess I missed Cajun Pass. So are those winds dangerous? One thing I am really wary of Southern California is the fire hazard in some areas.
The Cajon Pass is farther Inland than LA, but withink an hour of driving. It is the meeting point between the San Bernardino Mountains and San Gabriel Mountains, so anywhere down by the base has pretty strong winds. A few times when people were driving their cars during the high winds they said it was hard to keep their vehicles on the road. We also got really harsh winds like this up on the Rim of the World Highway in the San Bernardino Mountains. The fire danger is not as high right now, it is the higest during the summer and fall. Most of the time it is pretty safe to travel and not worry about fires, unless you are up in the mountains or hills then you should be okay .
That sounds scary if I ever decide to drive in my Civic(small car) there. But the fires I mentioned was in general about that area I have heard about. I guess people who live there are used to it and know how to deal effectively with fire hazards. I would love to visit all those places. Maybe next summer who knows

I have just read key parts of it and a few pages here and there, but you do not have to read the whole thing . I only googled it and found it because you wanted more information about the study. What I have read is very interesting though.
I don't know if I would get the same flow and understanding if I pick and choose. I will finish it within a month. Thanks for sending such information my way.
I will try to read it all the way through since you have motivated me. I cannot help it, but since college I tend to spead read, but slowing down is good too . I do that with novels.
Don't get me wrong I also do fast skimming through books but only for fiction whereas for any academic/non fiction stuff I prefer to have a good understanding. I may only read it once then let me do it as best as I can.

Well in India there is a saying that "when you are in a pit stop digging and then try to come out of it". I guess even if stops the direction in which US and to a certain extent the world is moving in then that would be a great achievement. He has a lot on his plate and hopefully he delivers. I was just reading about the colossal rebuilding that the recently concluded Gaza bombing requires. The world all around needs peace and hope(and for many that is all they are left with).
