   With icy roads, high volumes of holiday travel, and end-of-year rushes, driving can get pretty dangerous this time of year. In light of our presently risky roads, I am making this week's Weekly Topic Inspiration challenge all about car safety and safe driving.
   
   Please share your advice on driving safely and keeping your car well-oiled and functional. Who knows? Your know-how could very well save a life.

         I wrote it, offline. I'm going to admire it for the next few days. Then do what needs to be done to it; then figure out all the stuff in your op; then do what your op says ; then post it. If Google doesn't fall all over themselves going after this one, I'm breaking out Mr. Towel.

      Good one! Sudden rain last week caused some really huge puddles and I saw a lot of drivers struggling with them- they should have read your Hub.

      Hubs are fully published when they're Pending- they just aren't shown on Topic Pages / Hubs / to search engines yet. Is there a reason why you have chosen to add images only after the Hub is Featured? It might be less likely to be Featured if you publish it before it is absolutely ready to go.
      
      At any rate, this is an excellent Hub! I really appreciate how you've made your advice easier to scan through your use of images and easy-to-skip-around formatting.

    I took a defensive driving course a few years ago, and I'm still happy I did - now I do it regularly just to keep the cost of insurance down.  I went ahead and wrote up some good reasons to take them, and then provided some links for those who want to take a course themselves.  For fun, I made up a quiz.  If you get a 100, then you don't need it...anyone else...might be time to check those links!

    Wow guys- these are amazing! I'm going to leave this thread open for another couple of days should anyone like to contribute more (I figure a two week WTI theme might be nice for those who have been away for the holidays).
