I'm looking forward to reading your helpful tips!
Simone: Driving a vehicle is dangerous, especially when the operators of the vehicles either don't know or don't care to follow the rules and laws of safe driving. Everyday I see drivers chatting on their cells or texting, putting on their makeup, shaving, shatting or yelling with their passengers and kids etc. These distractions are what helps cause many accidents because they are not paying full attention to the traffic and what they are doing.
i agreed with i m driving daily 4 hours on my office way and its highway. so i m ready for those tips which u have to give me.http://www.jobsincareer.com/research-job/time-to-choose-whats-most-important/
I like this weekly topic so much because in my country there are lots of car accident. I have to write about it to advice them!
What a great topic to write about. Helping folks learn about car and driving safety within a high $$$$ topic! People would be silly not write about this Weekly Topic Inspiration! Thanks for giving us some of the keywords to work with!
Wow! This is a bit of a change, isn't it? Nice topic...although, I haven't jumped in with any new hubs lately,
Yeah, tryin' to mix it up! And if you have any other cool topics you think would be cool for future Weekly Topic Inspiration themes, let me know about 'em!
Oh wow, this is great! I was actually thinking of writing a hub on a car safety topic as it's [the specific topic I'm thinking] something I definitely have firsthand experience in. Great idea!

I live in NJ, where people drive so insanely, it's common to see somebody do a four lane changeover to cut off a bus or truck! And do you ever pass behind a car with it's back-up lights on? It happens all the time here. How do they know how fast you are going to back up? What if you look in your mirror, see nobody, then they walk behind your car? I've narrowly missed people, and think I'm pretty careful. Car safety is a really good topic.
Are you kidding? That's horrifying!! I wonder if there are more accidents than usual in that state!
Well, it looks like NJ is not even in the top ten!! (http://www.carinsurancecomparison.com/t … r-driving/)
I wonder what Montana or Kentucky is like, then!! YIKES!
Please think about our precious children & don't start driving until you have done the "click clack front and back " It does save lives .

Who could say no to that adorable photo? I'm glad you wrote this Hub!
I really like that you advise people to pay the price for a great car seat, before buying those designer digs for the kids! Nice job.
I wrote a general hub on safe driving tips, what to do if you encounter others driving badly, and assorted links to reference sites.

GREAT Hub! I've gleaned a lot of very useful info from this, and it provides a fantastic overview. Thanks, DzyMsLizzy!
Another top hub DML! Awesome look at the entire driving safety picture.
This looks like a fantastic, comprehensive hub, ms. Lizzy!
Great topic! If only my life would slow down so I could write...sigh...
Wonderful, this is going to be really nice to share in the drivers educational classes here at the high school. This is just totally awesome.
Hi everyone, here is my hub.

The seasonal spin you've brought to this week's topic is excellent! I had forgotten just how risky it can be to go out on the roads around the holidays. Great Hub!
Great advice. Holiday driving is a huge safety consideration and you provide some critical input surrounding the topic. Thanks for the reminders.
Hi. Finally I got the chance to join Weekly Topic Inspiration. This topic coincided with the National Teen Driver Safety Week in the US. So I wrote about Driving Safety Tips for Teenage Kids
Parents of teen drivers should send you a "thank you" note for writing this.
... as should teen drivers themselves! Thanks for writing this, Chin chin.
I hope this helps our teen drivers too; there are so many distractions outside the car as well as inside. "There ought to be a law!" as they used to say ...
Awareness and Enforcement Of Distracted Driving Laws Can Increase Driving Safety at http://hubpages.com/t/2a4933
Yikes! Your mention of the kid covering the drivers eyes makes my skin crawl! Great hub!
Yeesh... I hadn't realized how much is out there to distract us until I read your Hub. Now I'm more nervous about commuting by bike than ever!
I hope they would be able to read this hub, too, as well as the other awareness campaign for National Teen Drivers Safety Week. Thanks Simone Smith.
I just published this Hub. My focus is on driving defensively now and ways to save money doing so.
Driving defensively is what we all need to do to - starting right now - to increase our safety on the road.
Have a great Friday everyone!

This is a great Hub, with a very strong argument! I know a lot of people who are physically reckless but financially very conservative. I bet they'd heed your advice in this case!
excellent topic! I look forward to reading this one!
What a unique way to get through to those reckless but frugal drivers!
Thank you so much! That means a lot.

Thanks for opening up this topic.. I also published related hubs to driving.. The topic is about DUI and speeding tickets. http://sarasotadui.hubpages.com/hub/Any … e-Speeding
Thank you, this does seem like a good idea for an article.
Hope I squeezed this article in within the time limit. It is a subject that has actually come into my mind in the last couple of days on should there be an upper age limit for drivers, this mainly came about following a discussion with my Mum on her driving having deteriorated in standard over the years:

I have posted a selection of creative and shocking safe driving awareness ads. Very often pictures mean more than words. I hope that these pictures will help those who are still driving unsafe to reconsider their driving habits.

Thanks for the great idea for Hubs! I may have taken this in a different direction, but I was compelled to write about safe parking:
http://glassvisage.hubpages.com/_fcap/h … n-the-city
Be careful when parking in the city!
I have posted a hub on defensive driving. A great idea for an article.
I have published a hub on the rsiks associated with airbags and the safety of children travelling in vehicles with airbags.

Wow, so many amazing Hubs! I'm so glad to see this many useful guides coming out on the subject.
But how times flies! The new weekly topic is up- this time, we're focusing on projects to help prepare one's home and garden for the winter. I hope you can join in on the season-switching fun! http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/post/85477
oh, I forgot to post my response on the forum. Earlier today I published a hub on the topic. since I didn't do that in time, I'll just say that you can find my answer in the answers section and my title is 'Why I still Don't Have My driver's Licence."
I have no garden to speak of in a condo, although I do have flowers on my balconies. I think I'd have to focus on the "homes" aspect.
Oh, dear, I seem to be 'finding' a lot of older posts from the WTI archives showing up on my news feed, and being guilty of not noticing the date prior to writing an article to match the topic.
Here's another belated entry on safe driving that involves stopping distances.
