How we get more followers on Hub!! Please any body tell in brief?
I looked on your profile but your hub is nowhere to be found. It takes time to build up a following and one hub is not enough to make this happen. Write mor, engage in answers and forums, comment on the work of others and get yourself known here. I don't know what your niche is, but if it is a narrow one, you may not get many readers and thus many followers. Whatever happens, welcome and good luck.
Thanks for reply hubpages is new for me but it is really interesting things
It would certainly help if you develop your bio and show your personality, rather than a mission statement.... get out and meet others in similar interest groups... read and comment genuinely on their works and perhaps follow them.... in that way, you show that you are serious and are then effectively giving others the chance to read your work and follow you... Be Interesting... and do what you're doing now... intro yourself in the forums...
Nice to meet you.... see.. I wouldn't have known you existed if you hadn't posted in the forums!
Welcome to HubPages! I agree with what PearlDiver has said here; become part of the community here by reading hubs by others, commenting and being supportive. Your brief bio could be seen by some as being promotional, and the site has guidelines about usage designed to drive business. The site provides a setting where writers can publish informative articles about a wide variety of topics.
It takes time for people to find you and follow your work. Start publishing informative hubs, and you will eventually be 'found' by the many readers here. Best of luck in your writing, and again, welcome to the site!
thanks Marcy for ur reply but how to find that people
Go to the 'Learning Center' and start studying how the site works...
Top right hand corner of your current screen... go to your user name and when you hover on it... it is a drop down menu.... click on Learning Center and most of the questions you want answered will be.
I'm new, an introvert, and covering mostly a niche topic... so I've found it hard to get followers. Still, I'm of the mind that if you write what your interested in, the rest will follow
I used to think that, but I've changed my mind. The key is to write what readers are interested in, not what I'm interested in. In an ideal word, you merge both concepts, which is exactly what I've tried to do. I've been here a year and have learned the hard way that nobody out there cares about my interests unless they have the same ones. If you want people to read what you write, and want them to follow you, even on HP, this is what you must do. Sorry, but it's just how it is, and frankly, I don't like it either.
I absolutely agree with pealdiver, for getting more followers you need to be active in forums as well as commenting on others hub. This will surely help you.
Welcome to Hubpages! Though having a great number of followers looks good, it's not a must. If you really want to make a considerable amount of income from this site, aim for more page views from google. I looked at your profile and found no content so you should start by creating one that is of good quality and has an interesting and timely subject.
hahahaa... erm... post a HUB?? per chance?? then you may have a bit of a chance of people liking you and following. If, that is, your hub is any good.
Bear in mind that for the most part, this is not facebook. People don't want to know what you had for breakfast or how often you go to the loo, but if you put up interesting hubs, you may get some followers...
Just one further thing to add to what I mentioned before....
Never Open threads in the forums and then desert them and the ability to respond directly to those who used THEIR Time in an attempt to help you!
After 15 hours of non response... it kinda gives a negative message don't you think?
I think this guys a time waster... Considering he's meant to be from California and have a team of architects, his English isn't very good......
I think the best way of getting more followers is by simply being a regular writer. Write a lot of posts continuously and you would get a lot of followers.
Oh, his photo also appeared on a number of questions a few months ago asking things "on his friends" behalf. Same story, loads of questions, no hubs... And pointless waste of time.
To get some followers, you must:
1. Write some really good and interesting hubpages.
2. Read hubpages that are interesting and post comments
3. Start some valuable discussion in forums
4. Have a good bio or profile page
5. Also follow others

First off, let me say this. I am not in any way, shape, or form complaining. I'm just curious as to why.Over the last week or so, I've noticed I've gotten a lot more followers. Anywhere from one to three a day. Bear in mind, I haven't published a hub in a couple of...

Hello,I've been working hard over the past six months per hubpages and have what I think are a number of nice, interesting hubs. They are getting read quite a bit but few other hubbers choose to follow me. I sometimes will run a query of a topic I'm interested in (like the singer Neil...

Hello,I am new here in HubPages. Just signed up for an account a few days ago and I barely got any followers. I would like to know some tips on how to increase my number of followers aside of course, from writing a great hub and following other hubbers.
