Guys, see my forum question posed last night, "Criteria for Idling a hub." Simone answered it this morning. It may clarify some things.

I love the way certain words are no longer used
traffic => engagement
Idle => unmentionable word = cease to be featured = 'normal' = 'blank'
I haven't written here in ages. The bottom line is that Hub Pages needs to offer better views and income than other content mills or lose writers who can write. It has not been worth it. Until it is this place is not getting unpaid labor from me.

Now it seems I can't even find my articles on the site for more than 36 hours after they are published.I believe the new idle feature is affecting how hubs are indexed. Doesn't this affect traffic? What is causing this...
