RESOLVED: Isolated issues uploading photos

   I've searched past comments about photos not uploading, and most are from last year, and resolved for the most part. I deleted cache, cookies, rebooted, resized, installed the latest update of Adobe Flash, etc.. nothing seems to be working consistently. Sometimes it works, most often it doesn't. Any suggestions besides, "Keep trying?" Thanks in advance.

      Please check the file extension of your photos, i.e., JPEG, TIFF, PSD, PDD, BMP, PICT, PNG, and GIF and crosscheck the files extension accepted by hubpages or the site on which you are uploading. You can change the format with the help of software and then upload.

      Sorry to hear about the problems you are having uploading images.
      We are unaware of any current issues affecting image uploads on the site.
      
      It appears you are using  Chrome 24 in OS X 10.7.5.  I think that may be a version of OS X that Chrome has abandoned support for as the current version is 25.0.x.
      
      I believe that Firefox is still providing updated for your operating system.
      
      Does the issue persist if you use Firefox?
      
      The normal photo uploader requires Adobe Flash.
      Do you have problems using the non-Flash version of the photo uploader as well?

         Thanks for this useful information. I"ll try and see if Firefox has any affects on it. I have the latest version of Adobe Flash, not sure about a non-Flash version. I'm able to upload photos on other sites though.

   keep trying is the better option we find at the end of the day,, did u try from any other browser

   Yea, I keep trying. It's hit and miss, mostly "miss" when I'm online. I just keep writing hubs and wait to publish them until all photos are ready. Thinking of trying our Squidoo.

   Try to change your browser and make sure, java and flash both are abled for your browser.

      Tried that too. Still nothing. I tried another computer as well, and still couldn't upload. I was seriously thinking it was HP after that, but I see many news hubs with photos. Perhaps it's just my bad luck.

   Turn off your popup blocker. Sometimes popup blockers will prevent the image upload window from appearing.
