Yes and no. Yes you can copy your own comment, but you do need to make sure that there is sufficient extra information to make a full hub. Otherwise you will be flagged for duplicate content. It really doesn't matter whether you or anyone else wrote this information. What matters is that it is duplicate.
Technically, no. All forum posts belong to HP and you have no right to copy them.
At the same time, I can't imagine HP objecting so the only thing that will matter is that it is a duplicate - a few quotes within a large hub does no harm. A hub with nothing BUT quotes (or even half quotes) does, and will be rejected as duplicate.

I'm about positive that there is a percentage of text that can be copy/pasted from somewhere...else, but should that percentage be exceeded, then a hub is flagged as "duplicate content."Are we in agreement? If so then I'd like to know the percentage of copy/pasting that we can...

So .... I was just flagged for a hub I wrote last night. It was flagged as a duplicate.I didn't even cite anything in this hub. I quoted a bunch of stuff in my Anaconda piece and none of it was flagged as duplicate, so someone must have copied and pasted my new hub. Everything on...
