Do you think it's the contest? I know I put up a hub and put it on my FB fan page It's getting views (although it doesn't look like it will go viral). Perhaps many others have done the same.
Even some of my dormant hubs are showing signs of life.
I also got my first (I think) Q&A AdSense click of the year. So, I guess don't give up on those either.
How can you tell the Adsense click was for your Q and A?
A really long time ago, I put "paradigmsearch.hubpages.com/question" in AdSense as one of my URL's/Channels. Along with lots of individuals hubs, other directories, etc.
Since then, Google has overhauled the whole AdSense thing twice I believe.
These days, to add an URL, I think one goes to MyAds, then URL channels.
Then go to Performance Reports to see the stats going forward.
I don't seem to be getting much more traffic. But then again, I'm fairly new and don't know what a lot of traffic tends to look like on this site.
Except for a single viral Hub on Facebook, traffic to the HP site has been the same for the past two months, neither up nor down.
And yet our US Rank has gone from 63 to 90 I believe. What's up with that!?!
Meanwhile..., I've got CNN on the line. I just discovered I hit a new YTD high yesterday.
Yes it must be the competition, since it also made me write for Hubpages more this week instead of adding articles to my 2 other forums. But to post a hub a day! That I don think I could manage that.

First off, I reached 1/2 of my payout today, so that is very exciting! Thank you all for the advice so far, but I am in need of more. I am a little concerned, because I earned from two clicks this morning from a very low traffic hub. I thought that was really weird when I saw how much I had earned...

Is it just me (or mine) or the updating in Hub Traffic Statistics is really very slow

The expectation and plan is for this to be a happy, fun thread. We shall see...Last year my seasonal traffic increase began the very first week of September, but Labor Day was September 1st. This year the starting line is September 7th.For those of us with non-summer-specific hubs, the weekly...

Well, January is finally here.Make or break month as far as I am concerned. There is a stock market saying “However goes January, so goes the rest of the year.” Me thinks the same applies here. Will it be…A. Let the good times roll…OrB. A murder of crows glides overhead…The end of December...

Just wondering.. my traffic has dropped 38% again from April to May, 18% from March to April, and 29% from Feb to March. Is this just me or is it site wide? Anyone?
