When the numbers come in for this month, I should reach my first payout. Do I need to do anything to get the payment or is it automatic? Also, do you have to reach $50 each time to get paid or do you get paid monthly after the first payout?
TIA!
Congratulations on reaching your first payout! As long as you've entered your PayPal information correctly the payment will be automatic. We need to have fifty dollars or more in our account in order to be paid for a month. If we don't reach fifty dollars, the money is held over to the next month, or to a month when the total amount of money in our account has reached at least fifty dollars.
Good for you, Janis.
When you reach payout (50.00), you will automatically receive payment the following month to your PayPal account. We get paid only when we reach payout . If you have reached payout this month, you will be sent your check on the 28th of next month.
I've got over 150 dollars in my account, but Hubpages are not automatically paying me through paypal.
Are you sure you have the correct email in your settings as your PayPal account?
Go to your "My Account", click on "Earnings" then scroll down to the bottom to Payment Settings to make sure you have entered your PayPal account.
Yes, I did look that up. It does have my email address. So I don't know what else I can do.
There are two places to give HP an email address. One is for where notices should be sent to you and the other is for your PayPal account. The email addresses you give can be different.
To make sure that HP has the correct email address associated with your PayPal account, go here:
My Account > Earnings > Settings > Payment Settings.
My congratulations, Janis!
Keep up the great work and I am so proud of you.
I reached my first payment last month, but the payment was not received until this month, as they all are done that way. I got an email message from Pay Pal to let me know payment was received. Then, all you do is wait for Pay Pal to clear payment, and then it is your money to do with as you wish.
Congrats on your first payout!
Hi Phyllis, good to see you today. You're sounding lovely. I'm still waiting for my 1st pay check after 13 months :-). Where can I read my total earnings to date?
Greetings, Word.
Go to your 'My Account" - Earnings - Earnings Reports
Thank you everyone for the info and the congrats. I don't have that many hubs, but I do see where there is some good earning potential here.
You are right, Janis, there is good earning potential here. Some hubbers reach payout every month. Just keep writing.
congratulations for reaching your first payout, if your PayPal account is properly associated then you automatically receive payment on the 28th of the following month.
Congratulations writer Janis, I will reach my first payout this month as well. Must be something in the water...lol..hope you are as excited as me.
I'll just add that we got paid yesterday. It usually comes on the 28th of the month, so expect payments on September 28th for all funds due you at the close of the books on August 31st.
I hope to get to the point of hitting payout every month. Jodah, congrats! Thanks Writer Fox for letting me know the payout date.
Congratulations on reaching your first payout! I hope you make many more in the future. I'm looking forward to making payout more often when my Squidoo articles get transferred here!
Hi WriterJanis, congratulations! You'll find payouts become more and more frequent as time goes on.
I learned that that is not always the case. I made monthly payouts three months in a row, and then it slowed down to every other month, and even every third month. My CPMs were larger those three months.
Congratulations!!! 8 months & 11 hubs & already a payout. Good for you! I checked out some of your hubs & they look fun & interesting & they have lots of comments. May I ask how you drive so much traffic to your hubs? I'd love to get more traffic.

Hi,Do I have to do something like request it or will the ad program payment automatically go to my paypal account when I am at the correct earnings threshold? This is my first time making it, so I am not sure if I need to do anything. Thank you. Abby

Hi,I'm going to reach my $100 mark in December with Google Adsense I think. I'm curious, it took me 2 years to earn this money. If I wait a bit longer (say until I have accumulated $110), then take my payout, will I get all $110 or do they only payout in increments of $100?Thanks in advance,Et...

After a surge in earnings in the last couple of months, I'm over hte payment threshold for Google. Actually, it's still only £58.28 from hubs (£60 payout) but there's a tenner from my new blog, too.

Hi all,I have been keeping a careful record of the Kontera earnings, since someone commented, and I noticed, that my earnings seemed to be hovering just under the payout level, month after month.I have now discovered why.I saved the detailed report each month for a couple of months, and I have...

Sorry if this is dumb, but all this time I thought I had to reach $10 in Adsense to start receiving payments. But is it $100? I find the site frustrating to navigate, and I hoped someone here could explain it better. If it is $100, then once I go over that threshold, will I start getting regular...

We have some pretty good earners these days. There was an issue where PayPal has a max limit of $10,000 per payment to authors from the mass payment API. When an author went over $10K, we had to issue a second payment manually. We anticipate more authors going over this threshold, so now...
