Hi,
Do I have to do something like request it or will the ad program payment automatically go to my paypal account when I am at the correct earnings threshold? This is my first time making it, so I am not sure if I need to do anything. Thank you. Abby
Payment is automatic, you won't have to request it but it will paid the following month after you reach threshold. It gets paid on the 28th day of the month.
Congrats on making payout! This marks the beginning of your success on HubPages.
Thank you. It was a seasonal article, so I have to hope something else picks up this month. However, given that I am only here around four months, I was pleased.I think you have to be lucky with the search engines.
Congrats Abby! It took me two years to earn my first payout. As Sallybea stated, payout happens the 28th of each month. You'll receive an email from Maven Coalition/Hubpages informing you of the amount and a link to go to your PayPal account. There you can have the money transferred to your bank debit card, request a check, or let it sit where it is.
Congrats on making the payout--that's very impressive to achieve within a few months, as others are saying.
Nice progress. I see you already have a good amount of hubs!
It seems you are off to a great start!
Making payout in your first 4 months is awesome!! Great work!
Congratulations on making payout so quickly. You have done very well. I think I will make my 3 year anniversary on HP before I reach payout, or the threshold will rise!
Congrats, Abby. Four months is pretty quick. In addition to what Sallybea has said, Amazon earnings are delayed by two months and not one month as is the case with the HP ads program. Keep that in mind in case you aren't paid by the end of November.
Thank you Like I said, I got lucky with two holiday articles. I am not expecting this to continue, but we will see what happens. I think I put more time in than the average newbie too though. Thanks for the info.
It's great to see someone focused like this, Abby. You can call it lucky, but your hard work will pay off. I expect to see you in four figures within a year
I meant to say when I commented before that you have done an amazing job Abbey. You have put the work in and it has paid off.
In that sense everyone has to have a little luck, not everything that one writes gets a lot of traffic.
Congratulations Abby! My earnings payout is going to be this month as well, and I had the same questions running in my mind since last week. Four months is pretty quick since mine took a year and a month, but all the hard work is getting paid off.

When the numbers come in for this month, I should reach my first payout. Do I need to do anything to get the payment or is it automatic? Also, do you have to reach $50 each time to get paid or do you get paid monthly after the first payout?TIA!

Well, I would have made it sooner if it hadn't been for stupid Panda. But after a year, I finally got to the place where I've achieved payout in one month! Now if I could actually get a payout every month from now on, I'd be happy! I think I quite like HP new advertising plan after all.

It really does take off. I got my first adsense payout at the end of June, and I've just hit the £60 mark for July, so another payout this month. That's not all hubs, because I set up my own blog a month ago, but hubs is most of it.

It took three months, I guess that's not bad! Now if I could just meet that threshold every month I'd be thrilled.Today's my wedding anniversary, so this is a nice "gift"!

I just made enough for my first Adsense payout. This is a pretty big deal for me because I have had an Adsense account for about three years now. With Hubpages help I hope to make the second payout much much sooner than the first.

After 9 months on HP, I got that email we all anxiously wait for: I made my first payout and it was sent to Paypal. Woohoo!! Yesss! After a lot of stress, hard work, 43 hubs, and 30,300+ views, I can breathe a sigh of relief. Yes, I have a ways to go but this milestone calls for a celebration....
