    Hi,

Do I have to do something like request it or will the ad program payment automatically go to my paypal account when I am at the correct earnings threshold? This is my first time making it, so I am not sure if I need to do anything. Thank you. Abby

Payment is automatic, you won't have to request it but it will paid the following month after you reach threshold.  It gets paid on the 28th day of the month.

Thank you. It was a seasonal article, so I have to hope something else picks up this month. However, given that I am only here around four months, I was pleased.I think you have to be lucky with the search engines.

I'm impressed.  It took me years to make payout.  Keep writing.  The more articles you have, the more traffic you will attract.

Congrats Abby! It took me two years to earn my first payout. As Sallybea stated, payout happens the 28th of each month. You'll receive an email from Maven Coalition/Hubpages informing you of the amount and a link to go to your PayPal account. There you can have the money transferred to your bank debit card, request a check, or let it sit where it is.

Congrats on making the payout--that's very impressive to achieve within a few months, as others are saying.

Congratulations on making payout so quickly. You have done very well. I think I will make my 3 year anniversary on HP before I reach payout, or the threshold will rise!

Congrats, Abby. Four months is pretty quick. In addition to what Sallybea has said, Amazon earnings are delayed by two months and not one month as is the case with the HP ads program. Keep that in mind in case you aren't paid by the end of November.

Thank you Like I said, I got lucky with two holiday articles. I am not expecting this to continue, but we will see what happens. I think I put more time in than the average newbie too though. Thanks for the info.

It's great to see someone focused like this, Abby. You can call it lucky, but your hard work will pay off. I expect to see you in four figures within a year smile

I meant to say when I commented before that you have done an amazing job Abbey.  You have put the work in and it has paid off.

In that sense everyone has to have a little luck, not everything that one writes gets a lot of traffic.

I agree lobobrandon, my advice is to write evergreen stuff or become a 'specialist' in your subject.

Congratulations Abby! My earnings payout is going to be this month as well, and I had the same questions running in my mind since last week. Four months is pretty quick since mine took a year and a month, but all the hard work is getting paid off.
