Each time I go to My Photos in the My Accounts Section, there seems to be a glitch. Also each time I attempt to access My Photos in Upload Pictures, it doesn't respond. Does anyone else have this problem? I have recently updated to Internet Explorer 11.
I just did a test run and I am not experiencing any problems. I am using Chrome.
Thank you for informing me of this. I learn something new each day on HubPages. I was talking about my photos in the Photos Gallery. There seems to be a glitch when scrolling down. I updated to Chrome and still there's a problem w/scrolling down the photos.
I have had difficulty with that feature ever since I came over from Squidoo. Often, in my Photo Gallery, that we can access on our Account page tabs, photos I have categorized into albums, are not categorized as I set them.
Additionally, when I attempt to upload photos into photo capsules, the option of choosing a photo from a pre-existing album, does not work. I just work around it.
I use Windows XP with either Firefox or Chrome, at my business, and Windows 8, with either Firefox or Chrome, at home. The issue exists on both computers.
Thanks for the clarification. I tried scrolling down with my mouse and had issues. I grabbed the right side bar scroll thing and was able to pull the page down. Seems to be really slow in loading the images and will pull back up until images are loaded.
The page is supposed to load the images as you view them (not all at once).
I just checked and did notice long page load times and some images not displaying at all.
I have shared this with our engineering team, so hopefully we can determine the issue and get it fixed.
Thank you Matt as you speak, I am revamping the my photos gallery capsule, putting the images into albums. Thank you again for informing me of a solution, it is greatly appreciated in kind.
Thank you, Matt! Looking forward to an update on this.
Thank you for the response Mathew, but it does not answer the problem of the albums having no function. That needs to be addressed. Otherwise, why are we even bothering to waste time putting them into albums?
I was not providing a work around, but explaining that there does appear to be an issue with the My Photos page and I have passed this information to our engineering team.
I'm having similar problems. I've used lots of my own photos in my former "lenses" (now "hubpages") ... I usually just have to search on my computer to find the one I used, then load it immediately under the old one (that usually shows when I try to edit it ... but doesn't show when done editing). Then, once the new photo shows up ... I move the caption down to the new photo and delete the old one. It's a lot of work -- especially since I have a *bunch* of hubpages I have to now go through to fix this issue ... but it's what works for me. Best of luck!
We just deployed a fix for the My Photos section.
It should now load properly in Internet Explorer 11.
Make sure to clear your browser cache and restart your computer.
I spent a whole lot of time the other day putting all my photos into albums, hoping that when I go to upload a picture into the photo capsule, I only have to scroll though a specific album. Unfortunately that doesn't happen. I don't have a choice to pick an album. The only choice I have is to go newest first or oldest first. That is really a pain and disturbs the whole flow of writing the hub.
I wanted to weed out some of my photos and organize them in the albums, but it won't let me go past the first two rows of photos.
I have a huge number of pictures from my 600 hubs (former lenses at Squidoo), so I figured the sheer bulk of them was choking the photo storage area.
This has been a problem since I arrived 2 months ago. Guess I should have reported it, but have been busy revising hubs.
I just found that after the first two rows, I had to re-enter album names for every two rows that followed. From there, though, I have found no way to take advantage of the albums in my search.
The my photos section can be revised but it is a SLOW process, it takes a while. I have deleted many photos and put photos into albums. I have thousands. I am working on 2/9/2013 photos and 12/14/2013 photos simultaneously. The process is LONG and SLOW. Hope the engineer fix this problem expediently.
Do you save them in albums outside of HP for easier upload? I haven't found any function for putting them in albums, yet.
Yes, I do but I do find the my photo easier to lift in and of themselves!
I am once again finding a number of articles with photos not showing. All I see is a tiny blue X in the middle of where the photo should be. These are my own photos so there is no reason why these should disappear.
I can't get on internet for long so posting from iPhone. Many pics missing, site loading slowly. Latest Chrome and Windows 7. I have cleared cache but hear there is some huge problem with Internet as posted on other sites. I hope it's not a problem with my machine, as I have protection.
It may be an issue with your computer.
What version of Chrome are you using?
If you try a different browser like Firefox or Chrome does the issue persist?

Folks, yesterday I was trying to upload some images onto an existing hub. It had been imported from Squidoo, and in the original Lens, I had used links to images on my personal web site, which apparently HubPages doesn't support. I succeeded in uploading one image to replace an imported image, and...

Like probably most of us, I have thousands of images I took myself that would be useful in hubs. Not necessarily my own, as I have more photos than I could possibly use.Instead of all of us having to go searching for images on the web we can legally use, what about have our very own Hubpages gallery...

I realize there is another thread on this issue, but it is now a week old, so that's why I'm starting a new one. Yesterday, for the first time, I was unable to upload photos using Google Chrome. I cleared the browser cache and made sure my version was the latest one. I have no trouble uploading...

Anyone else having issues uploading photos for their hubs? I uploaded my first photo with zero problems about 10 minutes ago, and now I've tried 4 or 5 times and each time, I get this error message: "Something went wrong trying to upload your image to the server." No instructions about...

I've noticed yesterday and again today that pictures are not showing up on hubs. I'm in the middle of writing a hub myself and the picture just keeps saying loading.
