I've noticed yesterday and again today that pictures are not showing up on hubs. I'm in the middle of writing a hub myself and the picture just keeps saying loading.
No, I went in to edit one of my music hubs today and noticed all the graphics I had made for people to print had disappeared. There seems little point in trying to edit or write new stuff if the old is not readily visible. My guess (and hope) is that it is a database issue that will sort out following maintenance.
Yep, it appears that Hubpage's update broke something. I hate to say it but it is kind of like being on the old site lol. The system broken and traffic dropping. Cross fingers things get repaired quickly. I am not sure what to do. Correct them or wait?
me too! just when I am in the mood for editing -
Do you think HQs know or should I report it?
Yes please. Can you report it cause I have no idea how.
I have been trying to do this for the last 4 hours and all I get is empty squares. It wont let me insert photos and it wont let me edit the hub in total.
I have to keep editing each capsule.
Something is defintely going wrong.
Unless you have a great deal of time to spend at one sitting, I think I would recommend waiting. This morning, I spent just under 6 hours doing an edit job that should have taken 30 minutes or so.
Not only was there the problem with images, but also with text capsules that sometimes wouldn't save, other times couldn't be edited, and new ones that wouldn't add without multiple page attempts and refreshes.
Also, the capsule order wasn't 'sticking.' A refresh might fix the inability to add or edit text (or not) but would also disarrange module order, and either remove previously added capsules or add back in ones that I had deleted.
Yes, I tried clearing cache (twice) and also closing/reopening browser, plus rebooting. Nothing seemed to clear it up entirely, though occasionally it would be better for one or two capsule modifications.
On multiple occasions (more than a dozen) I got the 'something went wrong' message.
Thanks for reporting. Our engineers are looking into it and we'll update you as soon as we have more information.
Thank Heavens. I was not doing anything wrong myself, then.
I have been trying to upload an article for the last six hours. All sorts of things kept going wrong. I imagined that the photos were at fault, so kept trying fresh ones. I tried to work on another computer, and the same happened.
I was too anxious to have it up and gone, so did not think to get to the forum and maybe ask here.
Silly, silly me.
I did go checking things out at the Learning Centre, and isn't it strange that this problem with uploading photos seems to be a recurring one and coming from a long way back.
Wondering if the images not showing will need to be reinserted, or not after the fix.
Thank you so much for this update! I was afraid I would lose everything I've been doing. Hope it is up and running by Monday...
I'm having the same problem with broken links to all my photos, and I can't upload photos to the gallery either. Everything was OK until I edited my page yesterday.
Will I have to re-upload the images that don't show when the error is fixed?
I can now upload new images, but some of the older ones don't show. Fortunately, they are available in "My photos," and you can choose them from there.
Nice to know they are still available in our Photos folder if they don't reappear. All isn't lost then.
Hi everyone!
Our fabulous engineers have deployed a fix that should address most of the issues described herein. (Susan, I took a look at your Dexamethasone Hub and the lead image is showing.)
If anyone is still experiencing issues, please clear your browser's cache and try loading the page again before reporting bugs.
Thank you all for your patience, and happy Sunday!
The issue is not fixed.
I did clear my cache, cookies, and browser history, close and reopen browser. Images on several of my articles are still showing only the broken image icon. Today's HOTD is also still showing broken images. Random articles on other people's profiles are still showing broken images.
I've just sat and cleared cache etc. I've gone back into my Hub and deleted all the old photo links and reinstalled all again. All was looking good but I have just checked and there is still a problem. Some photos appear, some don't. Really not enjoying this extra hassle on a Sunday evening :-(
Yes, a bit hasty to put "FIXED" on the thread title.
Sorry, CG. We are trying to resolve the issue and thought it was fixed. Please bear with us while we continue working on this Sunday afternoon. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Should I leave the images hoping that they will eventually be visible?
Just wanted to provide an update that there are still some issues that are intermittently affecting the site and we are working to resolve them.
Thanks for your continued patience.
My complaint has nothing to do with images. It is about the total disappearance of articles. When I go to open a Hubpage all I see is a big blank white space - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING THERE. This is happening very frequently and this morning as I searched to interlink articles it was hitting every 2nd to 3rd article that I tried to open.
These are both related issues.
Please try these steps including clearing your browser cache and restarting your computer.
http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/Diag … r-problems
Then try a different browser like Opera, Chrome, Firefox, etc.
I'm having the same issue. I don't think clearing our cache and restarting our computers is the best advice since readers won't know (or really want) to do that too. I think that HP is just experiencing some big hiccups and we need to be patient
Even those that are showing up are being reported as invalid images when one tries to pin them.
Yes, the sun is shining, probably the last hot day of the year in London, so I think I'll just get out there and enjoy it - who wants to work on Sunday, anyway - I pity the poor experts who are probably beavering away in the background trying to find out what went wrong when they updated Hubpages.
I wish I had cottoned on to what was happening. It would have been nice to be out in the sunshine. Not to worry, my latest hub is up now and it is time for me to attend to other duties .
I have searched all over the place but cannot work out the number that appears on the profile icon. I cannot understand the bearing of it.
These last few days, as the total of my hubs increased, and the page views shot up, the number on my profile is inching down.
Is there anyone out there who can understand it?
Cheers!
I have been unsuccessful in trying to replace the images as well... even when I delete the capsule and insert a new one.
Almost all my photos are missing as well. Trying to fix pages is at a stand still. How are we supposed to get done before Squidoo takes down the site with so many problems? Has anyone made a plea to Squidoo to grant us the same grace period as HP has?
I am sure the photos (or at least some of them) are now on the HP database, but something is breaking the links or causing delays and difficulties loading them. If it is still happening tomorrow I shall get worried. Meanwhile as I am convinced, from other info relating to ad impressions I have on Goodreads, that low traffic is due simply to just that - not many folks about on line - I am just grateful this isn't happening at a peak time because obviously visitors are going to be disappointed.
I'm with you on this one, favored. If I can't refer to Squidoo for those links broken on HP,
I'll have to search everything out manually. Totally maddening.
FYI there are serious issues with adding new images too. You have to try to add them about 4-5 times before it will add. Sometimes it never successfully adds the image.
I am trying to create a hub also. Yesterday I got 7 photos uploaded before all went south. So I gave up and came back today to get 1 photo uploaded. I have been trying for an hour with no luck. I am at a stand still. It's nice to know it's not my PC as I have made all kinds of alterations to my setup. guess I can set it all back the way it was. Wondering now if I made a mistake choosing HP?
I have just finished uploading the article+photos which I struggled with for 6 six hours yesterday. It all went well.
Are you able to reboot? You may find that now it works,
Good Luck
I have not rebooted again but I will do that now and see. I'm just glad they are working on it. Being Sunday and all.
Well after a reboot.... Still not uploading photo's....I add a capsule for photo and select an image. I get this error message:
There was a problem processing this file, please try again or use a different image.
Oh well, I will try again next week.
Sorry to hear that #Thomas Riker. I know how frustrating it is.
Well, at least you are still in Sunday it seems. This is Monday morning for me!
I just chose a bad time to start a hub. I am not in any hurry so it's no big deal. I have OCD with broken things.
It's 3:30 pm Sunday here in the states.
I am trying to make a how to hub on Dome Home building...Lots of photo's.
ok. I took a break and thought of something to try and it might have worked... or the techs have fixed the problem and I did all this for not.
I was using images from my "shared pictures" folder in my computer. when I was uploading I browsed to that folder to choose a pic. Now I just browse to my "Libraries / Pictures" folder and they upload fine.
Hope this helps.
I can still see some of my pictures but I tried to add some picture to an exisiting hub and failed.
I first encountered the problem last night. The HP engineers are working on it - no projected time for the fix, but it is affecting lots of "Hubbers".
The topic is all over the forums...
Yes, as of just now..it appears to still be bugged. I tried on two different photo capsules with the same results..nothing.
Glad to find this thread I wondered what happened to all my photos and then found I couldn't see the photos on other peoples' hubs also. Hoping for a quick fix.
Just so everyone knows, on all the missing photos if you edit the capsule you can still see the photo even though it doesn't show on the hub page itself. This gives me some hope that I won't need to reload all my images. What a pain.
Anyone know when this is likely to be fixed? I reported it this morning and told updates will be made on this thread but I can't see anywhere where it says how long this will go on for. Wasted a huge amount of time today before I found out it's a general fault
I am glad it's not just me. Oh well, I am sure they will straighten it out. No use getting upset when it's a site wide problem. There are always things that can be worked on in the mean time.
I'm having a major problem with hubpages today. The problem has not been fixed. Photos not showing, changes are not being saved, and everything is v e r y s l o w. I just spent a few hours re-doing a former squidoo lens and none of the changes I made were saved! Auugh! From now on I"m checking the forums before trying to edit anything.
ps. all caches were cleared before I started as I do that Sunday mornings as regular maintenance.
It seems a lot of my hubs are OK but some are not. If and its a big IF, it comes to it. How can I access my photos to reload them. You see there are many photos that I uploaded over the years and I did not think to keep a copy. I have never needed to and never imagined the current situation. Where are the photos stored on Hub
They are stored here. Now sure if I'm allowed to leave a link so have put two dots before com please remove one http://hubpages..com/my/photos/gallery
It appears that images are now working. You may have to re upload some. Mine seem to be fine now.
Yes, I think the problem has now cleared - I took half a day off and sat in the garden having tea with a friend - the full monty with a teapot, tea cosy and bone china jug.
Yes it is working now. Some are missing but I have reloaded a few and they are working fine.
May take a break and see if the missing ones return, if not I will reload them.
The image issue isn't resolved for me at all. The white page issue has gotten significantly worse.
It appears that a lot of my photos are still missing also. Am in the middle of family things, so I cannot try to remedy any of it myself right now, but saw one gallery blank, and many photos missing.
That may change during the night, but right now, my hubs are still missing photos.
The images that were missing yesterday on my hubs are still missing too. I'd rather not have to take the time to re-upload them since I'm still working on bringing my ex-Squidoo lenses up to snuff. I don't need the extra work.
I restarted my computer and cleared the cache for the two browsers I use and now there is only a white page when I try to open Hubpages. I am writing this on my iPad because I can't access Hubpages on my computer.
If - like me - you cannot wait, I suggest you try again.
I had the prob of the white static screen. I had the title bar and nothing else.
Being the impatient sort, I fiddled, rebooted, did some more, rebooted. Within a matter of minutes I was in, minus some buttons on the menu.
EG: It did not give me a SAVE UNPUBLISHED button, nor an EDIT button at some stage. Just DONE and PUBLISH buttons which were no good to me.
Be persistent. Try again or better still shut it down and dont look at it for a while. I have to go out now, so phew. . . I wont give in and check every hour for a while!
Good luck
MarieLB
The images that are showing white, click on edit, "they are there", and click save and when they reload you will see them.
Thanks - the images are there in edit (they weren't yesterday), but even if I do click "save", they don't appear on the published hub. I've tried a couple times.
I can upload images now, but the number of views that my articles are receiving are running backwards. I don't mean that traffic is slowing down, I mean that rather than adding to the total number of views, it's actually subtracting them. This has been happening for the last 2-3 days.
after midnight here in NY now and HP seems to working be better but erratically nonetheless. It's been a long day/days/weeks spent updating hubs and well over a hundred still to do...but HP $ results are better than Squidoo's so far, which makes me very happy.
I am in the same boat as most of you a lot of my pictures don't show and I was trying to fix it on my own because I couldn't find how to report the problem until now I hope that they fix all of this so I can also continue on fixing and editing my pages from squidoo.
I still can not see some of the pictures in my hubs. Last night I loaded a new picture, than pinned it, It can be seen in pininterest bu not in my hub. I am confused.
I think #bibliopola that we are experiencing a variety of rogue actions. I think there is some corruption of the coding. I imagine that some stuff which used to work seamlessly is not out of sync.
Let us hope that when all is well again they will credit us with the points that seem to disappear from our pages.
In the meantime, we can just use the time to do some research
You are totally right, same Issue here, #HubPages do something about it?
The images that are showing white, click on edit, "they are there", then click save.
When they reload you will see them.
If you are from Squidoo and have book reviews showing the book, go to Amazon and download the picture of the book and upload it to your hub.
They will not show up on your hub on your profile page if it say's "Buy Now"
I have done mine they are all working now.
It looks like things are getting sorted. I managed to get all bar one photo back on last night and lost the will to live so gave up! I tried clicking on edit and yes, it was there so I saved but it still wasn't appearing on my hub. However, I deleted the photo, clicked on 'choose photos' and it was still there along with all my others, uploaded it to my capsule again and saved - this time it worked. :-)
Good for you Jenza
All the images on my hubs are broken too. The photos page in my account shows all my photos, but when I click My Photos in the image capsule, even the thumbnails of all of them are broken. Even the thumbnail of my profile photo is dead. I stopped bothering.
I am not sure why it is taking so long, seems to be that something went horribly wrong when moving over the sX.hubimg.com servers (X for 1, 2 etc). I hope they are still working on it, because I don't even have some of the original photos on my harddisk anymore.
At least HubPages.com seems to be reachable again, it was incredibly slow and/or not working yesterday. I guess that is a good sign?
My images are missing as well. But does this have an impact on the hubscore?
Hi Pateluday, I don't pay too much attention to the hub score so I can't answer that but I do want my readers to be engrossed in my hubs and I know the photos are a very important part of keeping them reading the articles so I spent the time deleting then re-adding the photos which worked for me.
It would be useful if we were given a time scale on when this fault likely to be fixed but doing what I did seems to have resolved my issues (which is the same as yours and everyone else in this thread it seems) so I guess you can ride it out and let them continue working on it or spend a bit of time trying yourself.
Fingers crossed for everyone that it's resolved soon :-)
What is really unsettling, is that one of the featured hubs that is on the main HubPages site, when we are not logged in, is not showing the "intro" photo. The one entitled "How to Organize Files" simply shows with a black box.
Hopefully, today, all will be remedied. It's been a lot of work - and fun - adapting to HubPages when one was used to Squidoo, and this is one more thing to handle.
At least most of us are in the same situation. That is some small comfort!
The site has been slow and missing images all weekend, but it seems better for me this morning. I see from the comments that it isn't fixed for everyone.
When there are sitewide problems, I recommend not trying to fix it yourself. In this case, don't touch your images, trying to fix them for yourself. Write your hubs offsite (on Word) and wait to transfer them when the site is back up and running. You'll save yourself a lot of frustration, and system resources.
I wrote a post to say that the image problems seem to have been fixed and the site is running faster, but I got a message that the post had been moved somewhere else. Then when I hit the back button so I could copy what I wrote and pasted it again so I could see where the post had been moved, it told me I had already posted in this forum. When I go to forum messages under "your", it says I posted here, but my post isn't here.
So apparently all the site issues have not been fixed.
Anyway, my point is that you shouldn't try to fix things while the site is having issues. I wouldn't even try to write a hub. Save yourself some serious frustration, and save the system resources.
Thank you, Millionaire Tips -- it makes sense to not do anything now to try to fix things or to start another hub until issues are ironed out. I am eager to write, but not eager to beat myself over the head if things aren't working :-)
That said, we were told it was fixed and there is a lack of updates from hb staff as to when it's likely to be resolved.
I would say that if things don't look right to you, then they are not resolved. If I had images in place and they are no longer there, I would look to HubPages to fix that, and not do my own fix, unless they tell me they have done all that they can do.
Well mine are resolved. I fixed myself. As advised by hubpages staff. Sadly not the case for everyone so again, if hubpages staff would send a 'fresh' update for those who were unsuccessful in resolving these issues, that would help. To the best of my knowledge, Hubpages have not requested anyone to not resolve the issues but did make a suggestion how to fix it and to be fair, those of us that have resolved are only trying to help those who haven't. I really think hp staff should be updating this rather than us getting into a debate over whether or not we should fix ourselves
I was able to publish a new Hub late last night so things seem to be improving somewhat. Earlier in the evening I couldn't get into the site at all.
Images still missing on many articles all over the site, could staff please give us an update? Several of mine are missing pictures and yesterday's HOTD still has a broken lead image
http://followthestray.hubpages.com/hub/ … nize-Files
Sorry - I take it all back! Not fixed as just noticed missing photos on another hub. But agree not to try and fix myself now. Lost far too much time on this as it is - just wish they'd update :-(
HP-
Are you fixing the photos or are you leaving it to us to comb through our articles (some of us have hundreds!) to hunt for broken images and re-upload them ourselves?
I can see from checking random articles that original uploads are fine, but the 520-pixel wide and 260-pixel wide jpg renderings that display on many articles are not showing up. For example, on yesterday's HOTD the original of the lead photo is good.
http://s1.hubimg.com/u/11740716.jpg
but the 520-pixel wide rendering (that readers see) is bad
http://s1.hubimg.com/u/11740716_f520.jpg
There's another photo further down in the article whose original is good
http://s2.hubimg.com/u/11740717.jpg
but whose 260-pixel wide rendering is bad
http://s2.hubimg.com/u/11740717_f260.jpg
I assume I'm not pointing out anything your engineers don't already know. Can we get an answer instead of silence?
Just adding something else that has happened today. This morning, several of my photos were back, but with "alt-text" showing below the photos. I went into "edit" mode, and corrected them. Now, they seem to be all right, but I have not checked all of my hubs.
On my account page, when I am in the "Photos" section, I noticed that most of my photos that were missing have reappeared, however some of them that were there, have now vanished.
This weekend our engineering team worked on migrating our data centers to a new location. This is causing high load times sitewide and may affect the functionality of other parts of the site (e.g., Hub Stats). The missing images issue is mostly fixed, but if you come across new examples today (calculus-geometry, we are looking into the ones you provided) please post them. We are working to get things back to normal as soon as possible.
Not sure if I'm supposed to post them here or somewhere else (please let me know if it should be somewhere else).
Here are the two hubs I've been having problems with images not showing up. I haven't checked most of my other hubs.
http://karenhc.hubpages.com/hub/make-yo … snowflakes
http://karenhc.hubpages.com/hub/amaryllis-bulbs-2
Karen, I just checked those hubs and your images are showing up now. See Marina's post above explaining why this was happening. I saw a number of other hubs that didn't show images, on and off, in the last day or so.
Some of the images on those two hubs are showing, but some are not. I should've made myself clear :-)
Update -- I reloaded Firefox, and the previously missing images ARE there, BUT on Chrome it still shows the broken image icon for those few photos. And now I'm off to restart my computer and see if they show up on Chrome.
Okay, restarted computer, and I had to re-clear the cache on Chrome, but I am seeing the images on the two hubs I had mentioned. Thank you Glenn!
Karen, I just double checked your Hubs in Chrome and Safari and all images appear to be there - yay!
http://luisegonzalez.hubpages.com/hub/Kids-and-The-Arts
http://luisegonzalez.hubpages.com/hub/C … aphy-Hacks
Basically anything published after the 18th are the ones with issues.
Plus one I haven't even published yet!
Luis, your images showed up fine for me just now. But maybe it's intermittent if you don't see them. At least HP knows about this and will fix it. I'm seeing a lot of loading issues all over HP.
I see all of the images on your Hubs as well, Luis.
Hi Marina,
To be honest I find it a bit disturbing to hear you see that the images problem is "mostly fixed". Because I can clearly see that it is not, I feel perhaps you haven't found the true cause yet have stopped looking for one?
Are you sure you want each and every individual member to come forward, is that your solution?
If it has to be, ALL the images in my hubs are messed up:
http://tarayates.hubpages.com/
That includes the thumbnails in the photo capsule where I pick the photos from my gallery. Even my thumbnail that is used here on the forum is messed up.
@tarayates; I have just been and had a look at your hubs and the missing images are Amazon books.
They will not show up on your hub on your profile page if it say's "Buy Now"
Go to Amazon and download the picture of the book to your computer and then upload it to your hub in a photo capsule.
Put the Amazon "to buy" capsule of the book further down the hub.
I have done mine they are all working now.
Hi tarayates, I just looked at all seven of your Hubs and don't see any broken images. Can you please confirm? If there are still some missing, please post the image URL(s) in this thread. Thanks!
Hi Marina, you are right. It wasn't yesterday, but during the day today it seems to have been fixed. Many thanks!
Tip for others in this situation: check multiple browsers. Chrome in particular is extremely aggressive with its caching, it is not enough to reload the page. Once only one of your browsers is 'misbehaving', the problem is basically solved on HP's end and you are down to merely a caching issue on your end.
Awesome! I'm glad they're back and thanks for confirming!
For the past three days the images on the first four hubs in the spotlight on my home page are missing:-
http://nathanville.hubpages.com/
and many of the images on one hub I started to edit, url below:-
http://nathanville.hubpages.com/hub/dvd-shelf-unit
There still seems to be other images missing on other hubs, mine included, but I haven't checked all my hubs.
Hi Nathanville! I found a few images that are still broken in your Hubs. We will get this fixed ASAP.
Thanks, although it's been a week and the same images as I reported are still missing; albeit all other images on my hubs seem to be back to normal.
Here's another glitch I've been seeing over the last few days...
"You have recently submitted a very similar post, posting the same message repeatedly is prohibited."
The good news, when I go back and look, the post did indeed post.
This is not a complaint, just a symptom description in case it might prove useful.
I am seeing disappearing images as well. Sometimes images are there and sometimes they are not. http://redneckladyluck.hubpages.com/hub … -recipes-2
I'm worried about how this slow load time is affecting our traffic, bounce rate, and the time spent by visitors on the page. The longer this goes on, the more chance it has of affecting our google rankings. It's been 4 days, which seems a tad excessive for any technical problem.
I agree. The HP responses in this thread are also far from reassuring. I don't get the impression that they even consider it a major issue, but rather a few isolated little problems here and there...
I don't know what else we can do. I wish HP would just acknowledge the problem.
Thomas, the slow load times are mostly impacting signed in users. Most of what we serve to signed out users is heavily cached and doesn't touch the database much. You can see for yourself by visiting one of these publicly available pages:
http://stats.pingdom.com/y2olaj4ezmiv/36305
http://stats.pingdom.com/y2olaj4ezmiv/56526
Please don't interpret the lack of frequent updates to mean that we don't care about or aren't working on the issue. We care as much as you do about keeping the site running smoothly. HubPages engineers worked the entirety of this past weekend and well past midnight the last few nights. They are working as fast as they can to get everything back to normal. The HubPages team is small relative to other web companies; successfully migrating data centers takes time and a lot of hard work. We acknowledge that the slow load times are frustrating and worrisome to folks -- fixing them is our number one priority right now.
Thank you, everyone, for your patience and understanding as our engineers continue to work on this.
Just to let you know, I kept getting 403 error messages a little while ago while trying to access the forum and my account page.
Thank you, Susana! The engineering team is aware of this error and it should be fixed soon.
Thanks for the information. I didn't realize things were still running smoothly for outside traffic. That's a relief. Personally, I'm happy to wait for as long as you need to fix the site, and I appreciate the hard work of the engineers.
Same experience here, I was about to edit a hub, there is a pop up box appear, saying that there was an error and it will automatically report to their engineers.
I noticed that my own uploaded images are visible but the Wikimedia are not, and it seems to affect recent hubs rather than old ones. I have new hubs waiting to upload.
I went through each of my 18 hubs (I feel for Hubbers with over 25). I found three hubs with images that weren't displaying. When I went in to edit and reupload the pictures, I found that the original thumbnail and image source info was still there. This helped me to figure out which was the missing image. I reuploaded it, c/p'd the text and then deleted the original thumbnail.
Here's is the rub. There are still broken image icons in the recent images box on my profile page. I can't for the life of me figure out which images those are since all of my hubs seem to now have active images.
At the moment, all of my photos seem to be where they are supposed to be, and the ones that were missing in the "Photos" area on main account page have come home, too!
http://nerdsathome.hubpages.com/hub/Do- … er-Cosplay
This still has no images loading for me.
I can see all of the images in that Hub. What browser are you using? Do the images appear when you refresh the page? Thanks!
Chrome. I've dumped the cache and it still doesn't show up. I did check in Firefox and it works. As long as it's just me, I guess it doesn't matter.
I'm using Chrome too and I see the images, but that doesn't mean there isn't an issue. I'll ask an engineer to take a deeper look.
Edward said that since the image is loading fine on Firefox, the image is likely cached in Chrome. Can you try emptying your cache in Chrome once more? Ed also suggests refreshing the page with shift+F5 in Chrome. Let me know how it goes!
EDIT: it was also suggested that you try viewing the Hub in incognito mode.
Thank you for fixing this, I now see the missing images on four of mine where the pictures were gone, as well as on the other people's articles that I had bookmarked to make sure it wasn't just my account.
None of the previous suggestions since my post this morning resolves my issue. I did a disk clean up followed by c-cleaner. No, nothing, nada.
Hi Arachnea! I just took a look at all of your Hubs and see all of your images there. This would suggest that there is an issue with the browser you're using. Can you post an example of a Hub that still seems to be missing images even after you've loaded it in a new browser and/or cleared your cache? Thanks!
I'm just getting back to this. Sorry. It seems to be working now. I am still having the white page problem, but I suspect that's still part of the update Matthew Meyer is working on, right?
Please contact team at hubpages dot com and explain the issues in detail as well as including URLs or title of Hubs on which you are witnessing the issue and we can assist you further.
And with all browser issues try these steps first.
Clear browser cookies and cache.
Upgrade your browser to the latest version.
Upgrade any operating system software.
Remove an an blocking software.
Disable or remove any browser plugins.
Restart your computer.
Try a different browser like Opera, Fiirefox, Chrome, etc.
If the issue only occurs in one browser then that means it may be an issue isolated to that browser or even browser version.
http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/Diag … r-problems
I had a few bleeps yesterday of links terminating in a white page. I had determined to get the link at one point and spaced it. However, after getting back in yesterday evening CST, I've noticed a reduction in white page results and in one or two cases it was a matter of waiting longer than usual for the page to load. I will keep an eye out and post the next time it occurs. The issues aren't occurring with any other website however.
My profile page has icons for images. I use Chrome and cleared cache.
Hi. I use chrome, and have updated the browser. (click on About Google Chrome) in the drop down menu. Then I cleared History. The images have now returned.
Posting in forums still acting up. Hitting submit appears not to work but then you find your post was posted. A window pops up after a very slow wait saying "This website not working, reload." I also thought I saw someone's post disappear.
Edit: When a poster thinks the post didn't go through, they hit submit again or click reload and a second post is posted. This is why some forums have duplicate and triple, and even multiple posts. You don't realize it until you go back to the forum. Spooky and annoying. What I have done is delete my duplicate post.
Hi Jan. We have seen this occur a few times. I have passed this on to our engineering team to see if we can track down the underlying issue.
Thanks for letting us know!
I also added this thread.

So glad to see this forum. I've been noticing this and it's been making me go crazy. Thought it was only me..
So far Chrome is fine after following instructions. Sometimes it's a little slow but not bad. We just dusted inside tower, and that helped. Good luck.

Each time I go to My Photos in the My Accounts Section, there seems to be a glitch. Also each time I attempt to access My Photos in Upload Pictures, it doesn't respond. Does anyone else have this problem? I have recently updated to Internet Explorer 11.

Folks, yesterday I was trying to upload some images onto an existing hub. It had been imported from Squidoo, and in the original Lens, I had used links to images on my personal web site, which apparently HubPages doesn't support. I succeeded in uploading one image to replace an imported image, and...

I have not used hubpages for around a year and have recently started to get back into it, I must admit that in the beginning I was a little Naive and posted images into my hubs willy nilly without thought of where they came from. I have recently recieved an email from a photo place saying that I...
