I don’t think most readers of hubs realize that they can see a list of articles by the author by clicking on the profile icon.
I’d like to suggest that a headline be added, above our profile icon, which informs the reader that they can see other articles by that author. Make the headline clickable to the hubbers profile page.
Suggested Headlines: Also By This Author: Read More by:
Would that be possible? What do you think?
There's already a "More by:" feature on our Hubs, in the right hand column. How is your suggestion different from this?
I'm suggesting the headline be directly above the author's profile icon. When I first started looking at hubs, I only found out by chance that if I clicked on the authors name that it would take me to their profile. I'm thinking there are other folks, like me, who don't naturally see the photo as a link.
The "more by" only points towards one article: the profile page lists them all
I like that idea ibrummer, I know that if you click on the writers name you automatically go into all of their hubs.
Yes, tics, that's the spot I'm talking about. Why couldn't there be a header above the writer's name making it more obvious to a reader of "all" a writer's different articles.
I realize there is an "also by" pictured hub, but that doesn't give the reader close to an idea about all the other articles by the writer.
When I first saw the new layout, I wondered if the first few lines of the hubber's profile information couldn't be included directly under the avatar with a 'read more' link to the hubber's profile page. I think I'd prefer that to the current 'more by' link.
I think this would also encourage hubbers to make their profiles (more) interesting.
I like this idea too!
I do wish the more by would have a menu to sort by topics. I like a variety of topics but certain topics hit more of my trigger points.

Hi,Hi,I keep getting the message that my hubs could be featured, but no matter how often I change them, they never are. I keep getting told that they may contain "spammy elements" but I'm not sure what these might be. Many of my hubs were previously published in my local newspaper, the...

I just updated my HubPages profile a couple days ago and in my profile linked to some of my favorite hub topics that I wrote about. Is this bad to do this since on the profile page we have those same hubs randomly come up below? I just don't want overkill but like the thought that I've got my...
