Has anyone else seen their earnings actually decrease this week? I swear that the number has actually gone down in the past week. What is up with that? Anyone know?
Yep, drastically. I am thinking that as the hubscore drops so does the earnings. Strange also on amazon sales which used to be good and have dropped drastically despite have relatively same traffic.
Mine are so low that I can't tell. So far I only made $3.12. I never made a sale on Amazon either.
Both traffic and earnings rates are less than stellar these days. Welcome to the beginning of summer and a lot of other problems.
If you are referring to an actual MTD drop; yes, the first week of May data was readjusted.
For those getting most traffic from the US, consider that it's Memorial Day tomorrow, most people are out shopping for their barbecues or heading out to get good deals in stores.
Earnings? What are they? :-)
Seriously, they are dropping, and the Northern Summer is coming, so it may be a hard Winter here in the South, where earnings are concerned.

My daily earnings have dropped drastically -- WHY? Is it because HP has pulled ads on my hubs due to the "unfeatured" hubs, which are mostly poems? Are poems not worthy of being featured and getting daily earnings? And WHY does HP decide what should or should not be featured?...

I've been a HP member for five years now and have seen steady, but modestly increasing traffic and earnings until recently. My earnings are now close to what I was seeing three or four years ago. I thought maybe it was a just a blip that I could wait out, but it has continued for months, probably...

The Googlebot visits new hubs within 30-60 minutes while they are in 'Pending' mode and the NOINDEX tag is in place for 24 Hours. This means that the bot does not index the page, and does not return for days or weeks. New pages do not get indexed for days or weeks. This causes lost traffic and lost...

On Jan 6 my traffic was very good for me from that day on it's dropped and earnings have dropped. During the holidays I could understand less traffic but now I don't get it.

Just kidding!I'm seeing dozens of threads from people stressing about losing traffic. Asking if this is the end of Hubpages. Asking if it's pointless writing here anymore. Asking if there is even a point to writing online.I saw my traffic drop by more than 50% in 2011 - when the original Panda...

Sounds like there are lots of changes going on, and it seems that many Hubbers are discouraged. If you were starting from scratch on the site, would you still put in the effort to build your portfolio of hubs here, or would you write primarily for other sites?
