Stats are wrong - again! Please explain why

I would really appreciate an explanation from one of the team as to why the stats on my account page do not match the stats on my individual hubs. Checked three hubs. All show significantly more views in the past 24 hours than my account page.

My highest traffic hub shows 50% less views on my account page. I'm sure this is not just happening to me ... and I'm guessing our earnings are based on the accounts page stats (which are incorrect.)

I'm sure we would all like an explanation as to why the discrepancy - instead of just being told to look at analytics for a true score.

It's happening to me too, and it is very disgusting. All those blue arrows and 40% of what views should be. Who ever is in charge of making stats work should be fired. I hate for someone to lose their job, but they are incompetent to say the very least.  Ridiculous.

I have become accustomed to the stats never being correct, and I know it can be frustrating. It appears to be beyond our control. The correct information is somewhere else besides what shows on our computers. Let us just hope that this site survives and that staff is spending time ensuring it continues to survive. My stats show eight views and blues arrows, and I know that is incorrect. That is why I believe the correct stats are elsewhere. I believe that our own views are in the stats, so staff must spend time ensuring those get removed. In Google Analytics, I have requested my views not count by putting  my ISP number in the requested area. Let us hope things get better.

If they are going to be wrong, I'd much rather they just don't update for two or three days. Even though I know they are wrong, seeing those low numbers just brings me down.

Yes, indeed. Not only are traffic stats not updating but the monetary stats are also not providing details either. Frustrating to say the least.

There was a change made to how and when stats are updated.
You can see a bit ore of an explanation here.

This is the reply I received from HP to an email query about the stats

"We have recently changed when and how stats are updated.
We suggest using Google Analytics for closer to realtime traffic data and more granular information"

I sincerely hope that this does not mean that HP have given up on the stats, don't care any more, and aren't going to fix them. If so they should announce this. Please fix the stats - they are very important for authors!

I'm a little relieved because I thought I had a heavy loss of traffic. Of course, GA stats look better than HP ones right now.

It says stats haven't been updated for 38 hours. Actually up until today my views had increased a lot. I'm not too concerned, but the funny thing is I have a new hub that has 48 comments but no views....pretty crazy.

Comments are counted in real time, but the views are not.

So this is what you are seeing as the views are updated a few times during the day and comments show up as they are posted.

We suggest using Google Analytics if you would like more realtime and granular traffic information.

        @Matthew
views are updated a few times during the day
This is incorrect. Currently the stats have not been updated for 46 hours, and the stats shown ARE WRONG (2/3 real values). In the past 3 weeks there have been two other times when the stats were frozen for 2 days. The stats get updated 2-4 times a week at best, and this has been occurring for weeks or months. The stats are often WRONG. Please recognise this and fix it - Please! Please! Please!

I have been having more down blue arrows lately.  I am waiting to see if they right themselves.
