   Here is a question that was asked by a friend of mine who is a philosopher and I thought it would be interesting to see the responses that are given.
   
   1. What is Knowing?
   
   2. How do you Know that you Know?
   
   3. How do you Know that you Know for sure?
   
   4. He/She who believes they Know, does not know or do they?
   
   5. He/She does not Know, Know or does He/She?

      Everyone knows at least something but even in our old age there is lots we do not know.
      
      Very Deep tonight AE, almost as deep as that far end of that swimming pool. Or are you, do I even know you, do I know if I answered any of your questions right. Who knows, oh that,s right you know so that indeedy answers one of your questions : )

      I am working on it, I guess we all need to let go sometimes and I had to write it out, tears flowing and then getting off the chair and laying back on the floor , our son bless his heart kept asking what was wrong, and I said "Mommy just had a bad day." His hugs were worth a thousand words and then I started crying because he is such a blessing and even though he is adopted he has been the greatest gift. I cried because of all of you who understood , it was just one big sob party...

   I guess most of us on here like most writers have our problems AE and trust me a lot of people on this site have gained both help and inspiration from your writing. Personally I think last night was their way of saying thank you to you. I can say with totally honesty that you are one amazing writer and trust me I have read loads on Ciao and Dooyoo since 2001 and you without a shadow of a doubt surpass them all. You have a talent and I find sometimes a talent like yours can make you think too much, perhaps last night was one of those occassions. Let that smile rip my friend, deff suits you.

      Aahhhh Thanks so much and I am continuing to smile from the inside out. I love people and will never stop, and I am glad to also call you my internet friend. I hope one day to come to Irelans and when we do I hope we can stop by visit with your family and have a guinness or two. That was my dad's choice of stout. ):   (((Big Hugs))

   #1 Knowing, is it biblical as in I was 'known' by him/her? If this is the case then yes, I am knowing many such interludes.
   Or is it to mean to understand/knowing a woman? if that is the case no one, even a woman can really understand all women.
   Or, is Knowing to mean that one understands a thing to be true by scientific and mathematical evaluations that prove the thing correct? In that case, I will never know if a Bigfoot or alien ET, ghosts or if any God truly exists.
   
   #2 I know that I broke my effin finger because of the damn pain!
   
   #3 it showed it to be true on the effin X-Ray
   
   #4 is just plain stupid and so is #5

      Haha, no dear, it's her wedding ann. to me. haha, I finally put up a white picket fence for her yesterday and we painted on it together today. Will finish it tomorrow. We've been together 19 years. How did that ever happen? hehe she tied me up and kidnapped me!

   AE, these are questions for which I *know* I had answers at 2 a.m. under the (blissful) influence of Wacky Weed.  Since I've not indulged in my favorite vegetation for many moons, I'll have to pass on this most intriguing thread. Unless, of course, the Pot Fairy happens to show up at my door, but Teresa's cat will have to type the post, because I certainly won't be able to while snarfing Oreos with both hands!

    Well what is it they say Knowledge is power.
    I have a quest for knowledge.
    i know only what I can prove as totally factual, by a series of experiment, etc.
    Some things one will never know for sure, but can guess or assume so in those cases one clearly does not know, for sure, but is plainly surmising.
    I guess the things you would know for sure were stuff. like Ice is cold Heat is not.
    but even that can be argued, as ice gives a similiar pain, to burning if sugnificant enough.
    I am certain of one thing I am rambling.

       The pretence that you know the most and will be the best source of knowing that you know.
    
    2. How do you Know that you Know?
    When the pretence of knowing that you know takes its toll on  you too and you begin to believe that what you know is known.
    
    
    3. How do you Know that you Know for sure?
       When the knowing penetrates so skin deep that even sticking a knowing a** up your a** cannot make you think otherwise.
    
    
    4. He/She who believes they Know, does not know or do they?
       Depends on how much the a** hurts.
    
    5. He/She does not Know, Know or does He/She?
       WTF?
