Happy New Year everyone! I just wanted to share this photo with you which I took. This was taken on New Years Day in the morning when I was walking my dog. I was in Scratby, which is a village on the coast in Norfolk, England. I'm glad I took my mobile phone with me as I was blessed to see this beautiful sunrise, so quickly pulled out my phone and took this picture. It does make you think, doesn't it? Although we all celebrated the end of one year and the beginning of another, nothing really changes, does it? The earth still spins and the sun will still rise, and set at the end of the day.
God is, indeed, a good God. Our lives change all the time. We move on, meet new people etc. But when you take a step back for a second, what really matters is that we are happy and have peace in our lives. I wish you all a wonderful and blessed 2018 and hope you like this beautiful sunrise.
The picture is an inspiration. Happy New Year!
@Coffeequeen --- wow, what a great sunrise!!! I loved it and love you for posting this to cheer (me) and lots of people up, especially where I lived in northwest Alabama where the temp's are in the mid-20s.
