   Not that I particularly know him, but I've seen him "around" often.  Hope he's ok, of course.  I do wonder why he wouldn't leave whatever he's already written.

   Nope, he said goodbye to me in one of my hubs, thanks for the memories and for making him smile.  It did not sound good, so am very worried about him and his health.  I know he's been battling the last month.

      I'm still in shock!  Logged on this morning and found two "farewell" comments - C.C. and 2C's.  No explanation. Hubs gone.  Thought it was probably due to health issues.  He's also gone from Facebook.  Hoping he's okay and everything turns out okay for him.  He'll be much missed.

    I know he is ok, but still, he made a huge contribution to HP here and all the other Hubbers here, so he deserves a great tribute, he is one of the most greatest men there are out there.     C.C. wrote a couple of comments in and among a forum post yesterday - 'what are you listening to now'. He said something like 'I'm going to miss you frogger' and I remember wondering what he meant by that.
    
    So - wherever he is, I too hope he is well. If not - or some other thing is wrong - I send him the very best of wishes.

    I've just emailed him to say "hi" via the Virtual Friends Tree because I hadn't heard from him for a few days - then I popped in here and saw this thread - hopefully Charlie's been in touch with GoldenToad who seems to know that all is well.

    I got an email from CC last night in response to mine - he's OK, j ust wanting to refocus and, as Cindyvine said, will be pooping in to read the odd hub ere and there .... so we all have to write odd hubs for Charlie !!!!

    I wonder why some people take down all their hubs?  That is sort of sad really, and if you cannot be on the site for awhile just hold comments in moderation.  That way people can at least read your work still.

    I am sure he will continue to read his favorite hubbers work occasionally. There is life beyond hubpages!! And I think he needed to focus on that.

    I went a year being away from Hubpages, but I left my hubs intact.  I think it is just better to keep things up for people to read, but I guess each person has to decide is best for them.

    Eddie and CC are doing fine however they are focusing on family and friends at this time. As many of us know by reading Eddie Perkins pages he was fighting for his life, with CC well I cannot disclose however they definitely will be missed. When I speak to either one I will let them know the concern.
