which is more important english or maths ?
english : an internationally accepted communication language
maths : if you walk also , it depend on math ,
currency is accepted as exchange of products & services ,
& it's caluculation is also depends on math.
but to understand different currencies english is needed.
This is a fantastic question - but a no-winner.
English is of course necessary in order to communicate (in an English speaking country) but Mathematics is equally essential in so many aspects of life, particularly if one takes the sub-channel that is Arithmetic alone. We may in this respect nominate Mathematics on the basis that English is irrelevant in such as German or Spanish speaking countries, whereas Mathematics is universal.
You could get a good Hub out of this question, looking at the commonalities or otherwise of language but the scientific disciplines, standards and constants of Mathematics.
There is a simple and easy answer for this, it depends on what you going to do and you usually need a mixture of both.. if you need be a GOOD SPEAKER-> you need mostly ENGLISH
if you gonna be architect-> you need more maths , if you gonna be an engineer-> you need more maths, if you gonna be an english teacher- YOU NEED ENGLISH
after becoming a english teacher also we need maths to take attendence in class.
I second that, both are very roots of our life. Why only English, it could be any language vs Maths and in any case this comparison will yield no result simply because we are trying to compare two things that belong to completely different domain. It is just like asking which is more important in a bike, front wheel or back wheel. Front wheel gives direction while the back wheel is responsible for locomotion.
Maths always ahead of English its a technical subject.
It has all basics and related theoretical proofs with physics and chemistry also..it related to all other technical subjects
I agree with the previous post. English is limited. Math is universal. Countries in which people speak another language other than
English, do not need it to communicate. As to math, it is needed world wide. So in this regard, math comes out on top.

Should everyone in this country be forced to learn English?English is NOT the official language of this country and it is considered one the hardest languages to master. Many Americans who move to other countries never learn the native language there.

How many languages do you know and in which country do you live?I frequently hear comments about how people in the United States generally only know English, whereas in many other countries people generally know multiple languages.
