Basically he says he's made $112.56 in week 2 and about $56 in week one. Which is awesome.
He clearly really really knows what he is doing. I'm guessing everyone else is way behind compared to him (I know I am, though I'm only on the 30hub challenge).
LOL One doesn't need hundreds of hubs to make that kind of money off HP. Not even dozens...
I think he's aiming for $1500 a month from these hubs. They are still young, they should gain as time goes on.
I personally think his progress is pretty good for new hubs.
Even that can be achieved by much lesser numbers. But then of course quantity approach is a legit one, just not the one I like
I'm with ya Misha, I'm slowly churning them out after a long drawn out thought process.
I'd like to see which are his.
I agree with Misha, it's not quantity that gets money, although with little promoting and larger quantity does earn more.
I think he's aiming WAY too much. I think he just had a good week, Can he keep that constant.
Its not quantity that gets the money, with promoting quantity does earn more, you on the Midol Whitney or is that a big contradiction ?
I never said it was quantity that earns, but quality. All I said was that I think he's aiming way too high with his predictions, as just because he claims the one good week, which I don't really see how, but hey whatever I don't promote and he probably has mad promoting skills. It just doesn't mean that it'll stay.
What am I contradicting? Is it that I have over 500 hubs, yet say that quality is more important? If you have large numbers and poor quality, then your earnings will more than likely be much lower than any amount of number and high quality. I am happy with my earnings, very pleased actually. I could earn much more, but I don't promote them. I let them do whatever they want to do in search engines as they will. If I had the time and energy to promote, I wouldn't doubt my earnings would be higher. I try to make sure that I have quality even though I have high numbers.
What does Midol have to do with anything? I haven't said anything contradictory, nor have I gotten snippy with anyone. And, if you're that curious, no I'm not on Midol.
Tut tut you are very touchy, maybe if you spent less time in the forums you would have written more hubs. Oh sorry wasn't that the advice you gave me ?
I have been working on hubs. I have about 6 I've nearly completed and almost ready to publish. I've also been working on 5 blogs, 40+ hour a week job, 2 dogs, and loads of reptiles that I breed and care for, as well as a boyfriend who has me doing odds and ends for him in regards to a dune buggy he's building.
I don't recall telling you specifically to hub more and forum less. But merely a statement that was said in general.
I think he's set up a separate identity for this contest ( because he didn't want people "helping" him by clicking and because he wanted to see if the ID itself provides strength to your hubs depending on your individual score).
I think what he's achieved is interesting and impressive given the hubs have only been up for two weeks or less.
I know and I was joking with you Whitney, you should chill out a bit more. You work way to hard and as I said I was only joking, maybe we should ban having a joke on the site, what do you think ?

My ultimate goal is to have all my hubs great quality hubs while writing a new hub a day per year 2013.I hope to gain new writing skills and get better at making all my hubs great quality the first time around. I will use this month to add a few more hubs before I start and to start working on...

I'll start off and admit that I didn't - I was on the 30 hubs in 30 days challenge and only made 17 hubs, which is pathetic I know. Those who completed - very well done. Do you want to give the rest of us any tips on how exactly you did it? eg how did you come up with ideas for 100 hubs? (getting...

They say it takes 21 days to create a habit. My goal is to hone my writing skill, write quality articles and make new friends here. Who is crazy enough to join me? Come on! We can do it together. Meredith

I've scrounged HubPages for this challenge as I posted one Sunday, one yesterday, and am working on what today. With only 20 hubs in the years I have been on here, I think it would be a great challenge. Is anyone currently undertaking this? Do you have any other advice?

As fast as I'm trying to fix up hubs that are unfeatured, the problem isn't that there is something wrong with them, but that they are being unfeatured as a result of lack of traffic. Isn't this short sighted? Some topics just don't get that much traffic. It's not because they are badly written,Is...
