Sir Dent invited me to come and join hubpages. He saw that I liked to write on another social network. It was the best idea.
While here I have learned about people and my audience and how to make a hubpage. I have been playing around with the features and learning about them and how to use them. I still have a ways to go with the writing though. I will get there someday, but for now I am still in the learning process.
I have met some very nice people here and have also met some not so nice people. I have been called nasty names and been uplifted by so many others.
I was not sure that I would make it to a year, but here I am!
I think I will stay awhile.
Yay! Great job Lady G! We definitely have different view points, but that is what i like about hubpages we can all come together and banter and debate and discuss our views. I am glad you are staying around, and I hope the next year is even better for you.
Thank you. I ws going to list those who have helped me through some rouh times her, but I dind't want it to be called to attention. You know what I mean and so does Sweetiepie and Sir Dent. Thank goodness that is behind me! Thanks goodness I have such true friends.
Congratulations on your success and hardwork. 163 hubs in 12 months is great achievement.
Congratulations, Lady Guinevere. Hope your second Hub-year is even better than the first.
Congratulations Lady Guinevere! You have crafted many great hubs, and I look forward to many more.

It's my one year anniversary on Hub Pages. Yes, I came over with the throng of refugees from Squiddo. I've enjoyed it here tremendously over the year, even with the few negatives. Though I've been outta pocket for some months, Hub Pages isn't far from my mind. So, by way of celebration (and I'll...

Film director Raymond Deane who has a new movie coming out soon - Travail: Dawn of a New Day - found me via HubPages and sent me a message saying he would like me to write about his work and would give me a link back for doing so. He is very pleased with what I wrote and has given me some great...

£62.30 deposited directly into my bank account! It's taken a while to get there, 10 months to be exact - and mostly from my Blog, not much from Hubpages yet (but I have only written 13 hubs so far, so that's not unexpected). However, it's still a very nice little sum of money as a 'by-product'...

Hello there fellow Hubbers!I am just so happy that I decided to share my joy with you! I recently received my first payment from Hubpages (after 9 months of trying to reach the $50 threshold). I know it sounds a bit lame since it took me that long just to get that much. But I already felt really...
