         mahesh is a great sandpitter and a lovely friend, in old good days we [skyfire, mark, nikitha, shurabhi, beth, klara, mahesh] used to pass long time together in this forum Niki and surabhi is totally off now. Klara and mahesh hardly come. I and mark still going strong. Our new warriors are sofs and densie.

       Good Morning Klara. I wish so bad I was down there with you in that 65 degree temp. You will have a great weekend there in Sunny Florida. It is very windy and Cooold here. I hate it.

    Merry Christmas to all of my dear friends here on hubpages and especially to the gang her at the sandpit.
    
    It is officially Christmas morning in Michigan.  Santa has arrived and the sleigh of Christmas goodies has toppled over into my daughters' living rooms!  Both of them at the same time!
    
    It has been a blessed Christmas Eve for me to be with family.  This is the 7 year anniversary of my mother's death and it has been a very special Christmas to share with family.

          Good morning, Mark.  I've been sicker than a dog with fleas for two days. 
          It was a miserable Christmas eve and day         No Christmas dinner for me, boo hoo cuz I had the flu.
          
          I finally feel half way decent today. 
          
          You and snow is more natural than North Carolina!   We got smashed!  My nephew was supposed to fly out of Norfolk today for minnesota and all flights were cancelled.  In fact, both VA and NC are in a state of emergency right now!!!

             Oh my Denise...I am so sorry you feel bad and have been sick.  I wish you well today and hope you feel better today. I can't believe you got hammered with snow down there. I was coming to see you to get away from the blizzard we are about to get.
             
             I was going to bring you chicken Noodle soup to make you feel better Denise. I will pray for you to get well.
             
             They just canceled the Eagles game here in Philadelphia. I think this is the first time for that. The height of the storm will be in the beginning of the game so good call from the NFL. Game will be Tuesday night instead.

    Ah, Mark!  I miss you dearly too!  xoxo  Glad that you had a wonderful Christmas.  Mine was spent with the kids.  I ditched the turkey and all the baking for lasagna and chilli (yea, sweet spicy chilli) for free time with the kiddles.  Had tons of fun playing games and having snowball fights.  Took the dogs out yesterday for a walk through the forest.  They couldn't decide if they like the white stuff or not!! 
    
    
    Hey Denise...Florida sounds right about now!!!  But wait....the airports are still closed! 
    We're waiting for the next wave of snow storms.  Should hit us within the next 24 hours.  Great for skiing, but first, will have to dig out of the driveway.

    Mark, it's coming and going in waves.  Right now, the sky is open and bright with some sun.  But the temperature is plummeting and the wind chill is excrutiatingly cold!!!  brrrr
    
    I suspect tonight will be aweful.  The dogs have bunkered in, which is a sure tell tale sign of another cold night.  Ahhh, what we live with wayyyy up here North of the 49th!!! 
    
    Wrap yourself in a warm blanket, hot chocolate in hand and cozy up with your loved ones and watch a good movie.  I'm doing that tonight.... Lost and then Inception.... and if I can stay awake, KickAss.

       awe Thanks you Beth. That is what I am going to do. Just got back from picking wifey up from work > I had off today and then they closed the cemetery anyway. So, I lost out on a vacation day
       
       snow blowed all morning and started a blog on wordpress, call
       
       living life sober, I'll see how I do with that. Wordpress is much better than my Goggle Blogger I think. You enjoy your children and snuggle up with them and stay warm.  Glad you were able to get connected again with the satellite problem

    btw, these are all ice sculptures that have been contenders in the Ottawa Winterfest in the past years (and this years)  It's amazing to watch the artists carve with chainsaws!
