I joined Hubpages as it gives me an opportunity to write about whatever I want and share it with others. I can write on so many different topics and help people. I enjoy writing and Hubpages is a great platform for the same. The affiliate earnings are an added incentive and an additional source of motivation.
I was surfing the net and I passed by the HP website... I loved writing since eternity so I created my account. Then I realized that there's a spark of incomparable joy that I feel in my heart knowing that for the first time in my life some people are spending time with my imperfect compositions. Thanks to HP, I have shared my articles, and even made friends with people who helped me to write and encouraged me to write even more... Happy hubbing everyone!
to write useful article for people across the world and learn new thing
Found it on google, and while looking over the site seemed very productive and a strong intelligent community.
I joined to share knowledge about the things I love, dogs, fitness, health, weight training. But as well hubpages plays a big part in my SEO strategies.
Some people shy away from free platforms, but I use them by adding value in many ways.
Great question, Ken. :-) I have always had a passion for writing, especially technical writing and writing instructions. I also enjoy helping others, especially when it comes to computers. I stumbled upon hubpages less then a year ago and seemed like a perfect place to share my knowledge and help others.
I look forward to writing a lot more hubpages.
Regards,
Easylearningweb
Hi I jioned because I wanted to spread my message through careful writing and blogging.I also wanted to utilise a quality and renowned website that will be viewed by Intelligent people.
I was bored surfing the net and stumbled onto Hubpages. I joined and posted some things that I had previously wrote since writing is a hobby. Now I'm stuck here.
because I'm interested in writing and it's a good way to dip tones in and maybe get some side income down the track but i think other possibilities may open up
Doing what I like and getting paid for it. And the freedom of doing it without any unnecessary restrictions. Its a place to be yourself
First I started to put my ideas on paper. Then I started to use my material for my English lessons here in Brazil. Next I started to make friends here. Now, I am even making more friends, sharing opinions and I am reading really good stuff every day. Do you agree? A hug from Brazil, Lu.
hi brother . i join the hub because i got really good and impressive thing form this sites .and i really to join the hubs there so many creativities to show and learn many thing
basically because I found out that I can earn while I write. this answer must be cliched by now, but as a college student with a lot of free time, I think it suits me well. I'm hoping to establish my photography studio.
I joined Hub Pages, to get myself out there and for people to see my articles and my gaming reviews.
You should read Charlie Killick articles
I came across HubPages in a job search online. Although, I did not join for profit. I have always enjoyed writing and even from a young age, I would create little short stories. Unfortunately, I stopped writing for a while and now I'm trying to jump back in. HubPages offers me the freedom to write about whatever is significant to me and I can still get feedback from other writers as well. I've only been here for a day but I love it so far!
I joined HubPages because it is free to join. At the time when I joined I wanted to see if I could publish a few things that I had written for myself. I am not a writer, but anyhow I wanted to see if my writing were at least worth to read for free. So, now I am still trying to see if my writing are good enough and if they are, one day I could make a book from them?
I enjoy writing. Hopefully I can write on some subjects that many people might enjoy reading. Plus there seems to be plenty of talented writers here!
Hi
Mr.Ken
Joining Hub pages is easy but difficult thing is we should use it in a correct way.Mainly i joined Hub pages to improve my skills regarding various aspects and to increase my company product sales[www.nbbatt.com].
Hub pages is a basic platform which provides information and gives the independence to the user.I think Hub pages can improve the skills of the person.
Hi Ken! I joined HubPages because I learned from my husband that it is a great way to write/blog and since he knows that I have a passion for writing (not professionally-just for fun:-D), he told me about HubPages where I can write what I want to write about and so far, I've been enjoying writing for the HubPages community while reading and learning from other people's articles! What a great bunch of writers-I've enjoyed each and everyone of the articles that I've read so far. I've only been here for a month or so and I'm so thrilled to be a part of such intelligent and wonderful writers, both amateurs and professionals, alike! As far as the potential of earning money-I'll probably look into this, as well. After all, with a declining economy, who wouldn't want to earn extra money on the side and still enjoy what you do, right?:-) I also would like to learn what other people think about my articles (constructive criticism is always welcome:-)) since this is the best way to improve someone's writing. It is also great to see so many talented people who are so passionate about writing. Thank God for HubPages for giving everyone an opportunity to write about whatever they want to write about-not limited to any number of topics. Some social network sites are limited when it comes to "blogging." This is what I like about HubPages-it is limitless when it comes to writing. Anyhow, thank you for asking this question and I hope I did not bore you with my lengthy reply. Have a wonderful day and week ahead. God bless!:-)
i joined because it was a good way for me to express what i feel and help other teenagers that are dealing with the problem im dealing with now. And maybe other people will read my hubs and offer some advice to the other people who read it and also to me. this is a very good question:)
I'm a new user and I'm interested in article writings and reviews. Hub pages gives me the opportunity to do that. With hub pages I also connected with international topics and people of different country. Thanks.
hubpage work so simple and easy to use , I can post my story add the keyword and hyper link back to my main website .
I came to Hubpages from a link produced by a search engine about an article i searched for. Then there was a hubber's picture somewhere beside the article... then it dawned on me, "what are you giving in return for this article you are reading?" ...then i saw there was a chance to become a member, and write useful things others could also benefit from. so i joined. even though i am yet to publish a hub, i know i have stuff to write about, and by learning from experienced hubbers, i can contribute my quota to knowledge creation.
Well I left Hubpages and came back. It's the only trusted writing website that's out here. I join because, I want my writing work to be publish. Hubpages is a good place.
To supply our visitors with more options to find our useful content!
To develop my writing skills and keep myself entertained on the other side of the planet...
I joined the site to see what is was all about to start with, then I started writing some Hubs, and then saw the potential of earning some money from my writing.
To improve my writing and hopefully generate soem extra income! =p
Primarily, to provide a stable, effective way to communicate with my daughter. If anyone else can benefit from my babbling, well then all the better. I've also had the pleasant experience of learning quite a bit from my fellow Hubbers. Then there is the money, which I don't expect, but who knows? I may actually have some talent and it may pay off. Writing like this also gives me good practice for writing my novel. Dealing with poor comments and negative feedback also will help me in dealing with the rejection letters that I will be getting.
I wanted another forum with another "vibe" to it. I'd been blogging on myspace for years. Hubpages is great because it's a more professional environment. I can write about all sorts of things here that my myspace readers probably wouldn't care to read about. Speaking of myspace, "Springboard" gave me the tip to come to the hubs, and I'd known him from myspace.
Money? Well, that would be nice, and it's provided some motivation to try a little harder than I otherwise would. I've been so pleasantly surprised by how advanced this website is in comparison to myspace.com, or facebook; but of course this isn't really a social networking site.
I'm rather hooked on the internet-and so if I someday make a isp payment from my hobby, then wouldn't that be great?
I joined because I was looking for a great site with great community and diverse opportunities to write. I wanted another passive income place ti write articles and meet other article and freelance writers!
It's a great place to write about anything and share it with others and i found that the people hear are very friendly and helpful and leave good positive comments .
because this help to intraact with world and share our feeling to earn part time money to help the people by posting good things.
I was told by my family and friends that I talk alot and get quite passionate about the things I talk about, so they suggested to write about it. Mostly I think so I wouldn't be talking to them for an hour about something they don't care about
Because I wanted to see if my writing was worth anything, or I guess what I am trying to say is if anyone would be interested in reading what I write. I have always dreamed of being a novelist. Novelist don't make millions, unless you are Danielle Steele or Steven King, so I wanted to see if I could freelance and if I did would anyone want to read what I had to write.
Lol! Accidentally I joined HubPages. One day i was surfing net and looking for getafreelancer. But how i came to hubpages i didn't know. Then i sign up and since then i am a member of hubpages.
I joined hub pages to hone my writing skills and make a little bet of extra money. My writing is improving and I should be seeing my first payout real soon.
I join hubpages because i wanted to be heard. I wanted to be heard somewhere out there in the world. Just someone listen to what I have to say.
i love to write and i want to earn.. guess this is a nice place to stay...
i like reading others hubs also...
I was looking for a new way to make residual income. I heard a lot about Hubpages from writers on eHow.
I love to write. As a former network engineering and planning manager for a large health care company, I enjoyed creating process and procedure documents the most. A couple years ago I left the position so I would have more time to pursue more creative writing projects. After searching and trying out a few different sites, I found HubPages to have one of the best communities of its kind. You are allowed to write about anything that interests you, and the community has been fast and fair with critiques. I look forward to creating many more hubs.
I love to write and I find Hubbing to be very thereputic. I love all the hubs I've been able to read. It's a great site.
My passion for writing has been generally strong throughout my whole life but in my later years I felt I had a bit more to offer with my literature and honest advice. I’ve aspired to be a writer/poet since I was a young child. I feel I can be very inspirational and deliver a grand message to a population that appreciates literature with my same intensity. The exposure I feel this site has and opportunity is totally amazing. The legitimacy of people earning money from participating in an entertaining passion is strictly a bonus. Whether I make $1 or $1, 000, 000 I’m satisfied that I have the opportunity to be heard. Cheers and I encourage all to support each other and please if you ever have spare time view a bit of my work, thanks in advance.
Many reasons. But a very cool thing about hubpages is that you get the chance to exchange ideas with a variety of people with different backgrounds and interesting stories.
Mostly so I would write more often. I don't always do it, but that is why I joined.
i was bored found this site by accident - made a few tenuous hubs and found my niche- enjoying the writing and the interaction with others
To start earning an other source of income, as with a wife and daughter it can be expensive and I needed to capitalize on my adsense account
Because I had heard good things about it, how staff is very involved, and the community is very supportive. I was looking for a place where I could use affiliate links as well, because I plan to get into that. I wanted a place that had been around awhile so I'd know it had Google juice.

I am new here as of 2 weeks ago. I joined to be able to write articles pertaining to the military base my husband is stationed at and for the people who live or are moving here who have NO clue what to do. Morale is low on base, its surrounded by farmlands and when you first arrive you think...holy...
