    The FAQ explains Kontera,

And you need a LOT of traffic to make money from that program. (my estimates are over 100,000 pageviews per month for it to make steady earnings)

I have been doing this for three months, I have 65 hubs, the first 30 were created in the first month, and I have not even made a dollar. I have made significantly more through adsense. So I'm not very confident with Kontera, but who knows, so I still have it connected to my hubs.

    Hey Karanda,

This is Jonathan from Kontera. Relache is right, it's probably the easiest to just check out our FAQ page, but I'll happily give you the summarized version.

Kontera is an In-Text ad network, who's ads appear when you scroll over a highlighted word. You might not see them on Hubpages, because they only appear for people not signed in.

What makes Kontera such an effective In-Text network is our contextual algorithm, which can read your webpages for meaning, leading to more relevant ads for your content. This allows us to provide higher CTR and better CPC.

Another valuable aspect to Kontera is our exclusive ad inventory  from some of the biggest brands in the world including Microsoft, Blackberry, L'Oreal, and Volvo. These premium, often Rich-Media ads are the most attractive to your visitors, offer the best possible CPC, and are only available through Kontera.

If you're interested in joining Kontera, our current rate for new publishers is 70%, which is the highest in the industry. We're also offering new publishers a $50 bonus if they get at least 25,000 U.S. page views during their first 30 days on the network. Additionally, we recently just lowered our minimum payment threshold from $100 to $50, across all payment methods, so HubPages Publishers should see their earning sooner now.

Feel free to e-mail me at jonathanc@kontera.com if you'd like more info.

    Thanks,

    - Jonathan Cohen
