So, what exciting plans do you all have for the weekend. I realize it's almost over in some place.

Sunday night here, and rounding up someone elses horses, was my highspot. Sad eh!

Nothing at all sad  It's saturday night here and it looks like I'll have an early night.  I've spent the start of the weekend sleeping and it looks like it is  going to continue the same way sad

Sleeping is good.  I like to do a bit of DIY/gardening then reward myself with a nap. We had a family walk today and looked out over the English Channel.  I'm off work next week so I'm feeling happy (like Snow White?).

Zsuzsy - I can't wait to meet them - I am checking the flight times to Canada from London as I type.  I've never cleaned duck droppings before but am looking forward to the challenge.  Don't you start without me...

I wouldn't think of starting without you...My babies--- 52 Chickens and 11 Rouens and 11 Mascovies ducks are waiting. Bring rubber boots as its been raining all day...

Iced tea(naturally the good kind) and shrimp stir fry okay for dinner. How many should I make prep food for?

Painting/staining porch and deck rails, cutting up downed trees and possibly a fire tonight, getting weeds out of the gardens.  Sunday, church and possibly visit with family.

I spent the whole Saturday afternoon and evening on writing a hub (yes, it takes me soooo long usually). I guess I will try to relax somehow tomorrow.

I am lounging... hard core.  I have no housework, and my baby is super chill.  I am hanging out in this blissful mode, until it ends... always too soon.

We certainly are a sad bunch. Aren't any Hubbers sky-diving this weekend? Or flying off to Paris for a relaxing weekend? Or having dinner with someone uber-famous? Come on people! smile

Living the boring life.  Laundry. Clean up after kids. Laundry. Clean up after kids. Make dinner. Laundry.  Watch movie.

We had torrential rain this morning and some great thunder & lightening - that was the highlight of my day.

I had a few short moments to start a Hub.

Its oppressively hot & humid out, so garden is being neglected.

Tomorrow I'm hiding in my room & writing.

My husband would like to be Ron big_smile

Finally a bright sunny day after months of rain and showers. We didn't feel like we could waste it! I thought it would be more like a "trail." It was very rustic, and quite frankly a bit of work. Friends who live near there, dropped us off, and then picked us up at the end of our trek.

But we saw lots of birds and deer, a few snakes and things I didn't know what they are. But it was a lot of fun.

If I had brought my digital camera. There were people analyzing animal poo to determine what animal it was. Yes that would have been quite the hub!

I usually love the weekends if I get to babysit my Grandchildren. I was not needed this weekend, so I am here writing, doing some study and listening to the Australians ensuring we keep the ashes away from the English cricketers!
