I had a fairly productive weekend, but I definitely didn't get as much stuff done as I would have liked. I'm still on pace and have taken care of most of the research that I needed to do on my topics, so I should be able to crank these things out with no problem.
I guess all I need to do now is just focus a bit and write!
How did your weekend go?
It went okay...I'm on target with 5 hubpages down, although sunday evening was the worse, because I must have sat down to write my next hubpage and the phone rang or the doorbell went or a long lost cousin calls round outta the blue or the mrs wants me to make a sandwich after midnight...midnight for christs sake!!!!
My secret beer stash was about the most productive thing on sunday night I can tell you!
It's Tuesday here and the weekend allowed me to publish 2 hubs and start 3 more. My hubs are 1800 - 2500 words on average.
But Monday It was a day of stressing over how, when & where sleep should take place over the next 26 days
Not as good as I'd hoped. I have several hubs in progress, but with the kids & hubby around 24/7, I'm finding it hard to sit down & write. Tonight, I'm going to lock myself away and get down to writing.
I had great seafood at an awesome restaurant and hung out with family. Does that count as being productive?
Lol Cindy that sounds productive to me. In fact yummmmmyyy.
I got done less than I had hoped but had plenty of family duty to tend to. I am on pace with 3 done in 3 days, but the weekdays can be pretty busy. Don't know how I will get it all done, but I will keep pushing myself. Can identify with trying to figure out when to sleep.
Chilled with a few friends in a beautiful park as the weather is lovely over here. Then, it was back to planet earth to draft some Hubs for the 30 day Challenge. Today is my Day 4 - hope I can keep it up.
I worked on changing my profile, and generated ideas for about 10 hubs and started writing 3. I've published one. I feel encouraged and excited to see my score at 100 once or twice this weekend, and definitely not running out of material. Also working on getting photo permissions worked out for one of the hubs I have in process. All in all a very productive weekend but my poor little family is just going to have to suffer through it!
I've published 10 hubs and have about 15 in progress (hub openened, titled, categorized, and some pieces already present). I will probably publish one tonight. I need to catch up on housework tonight too. But, once you start the dishwasher and clothes washing, it's back to writing!
I have a few lined up, I am finding things are picking up again
I am doing okay. I stayed on track with my hubs at least.
It's tough cranking a hub out daily while in this middle of this road trip and all the touristy stuff my family and I are busy doing, but I'm writing.
And it's fun! This hubpages thing is turning out to be really fun so far!
I did loads! More than planned I kind of wanted to do exactly one a day but they're there to be completed so I got carried away!
This week will be tougher as it's a busy one.
I have been productive. Offline but productive. In fact, I'm more productive if I can't get on the internet.
I've currently got about 40 notepad text documents that have the makings of becoming a hub. Not sure which ones will make the final cut. I will probably have to narrow it down in stage 2 or otherwise I'll be pressed for time in stage 3 (I'm doing my 30 hubs in one big batch rather than one at a time).
Isn't it a great feeling to have all of your planning done? I think that this is such a great exercise in organizing your topics and researching the subjects that you are going to write about. Knowing that all you need to do it crank out some writing and having all of your topics, images, videos, links and other things ready to go makes the process SO much easier.
I had a productive week-end, but not writing hubs though. Have to finish a project in eLance plus do the laundry, attend a party, etc. etc. Just published my 3rd hub for the hubchallenge. I'm still behind by 1 to 2 hubs .
err ... sorry sir ... err ... this won't happen again!
Although I wasn't very productive writing hubs but did a lot of other productive stuff like buying new domains and setting up their landing page and stuff. Hope I make it 30 in 30 days.
Not as productive as i would have liked. Alot of the forums, not so much of the hubbing.
I had a very productive weekend, albeit not at my computer. My husband and I helped with a cat rescue in Apache Junction, AZ. It is an on-going situation until all of the cats have seen vets and have been placed in foster homes or in another sanctuary. But, we made great headway in cleaning the enclosures, socializing with the cats, grooming them, and getting them seen by a vet tech.
Very productive week end. I love writing small articles on the topics I am working with. In the last for days, I have published 13 hubs. Although, I am a little worried. I have some poetry that I would like to put up and I don't know whether or not that is a bad hub because it is short. Would it I be cheating myself if I put up poems? Maybe, I should just not count them in the total? Or, do them all in one hub?
I would think it would be hard for poetry to score very high, or do very well, unless it really hit on some good keywords, or was something tons of people relate to and drive a lot of traffic to it. My own poetry experience....I won't publish any more, but it's not my thing either. There are lots of poetry hubbers here and they may tell you a completely different story. I guess it depends on whether you're about making money, making hubber friends, or just expressing yourself even if no one reads it.
I am starting to think that maybe some of the smaller ones could be used to talk about language. That might be a happy medium between posting poetry and being informative. I can give it a try and see what it does.

Just wondering. So much ill will abounds in the forum, largely related to a couple of the sub forums. That aside, what would improve your hubpages experience? And no one can say 'shut down the forum' because we'd lose a principle platform for helping each other in many ways - not least the...

I write 5 hubs a day. 2 of them are quality hubs that I enjoy writing and put my most effort to, the rest are there to share some kind of information I think is interesting. But these are not as good and I actually struggle to write them. So how many of your hubs are you satisfied with?

I been comparing days lately and noticed that my traffic to my hubs seems to rise on friday to sunday, then it decreases on monday - about 1000-2000 views. Is that normal? It seems like it's a big drop number, but in actuality, it's only 20%.Anyone else have a drop on Mondays?

Hi everyone. I'm new to this site and only stumbled upon it while I was trawling around, looking for some way of making a few pennies doing something I love - which is writing. The trouble is, I'm a bit of a dummy when it comes to computer stuff, and although I've managed to set myself up and even...
