I'm listening to Jazz on Galaxy right at the moment.

It was a sad day in January when John Martyn died. I used to own his first album. I just loved his folksy, jazzy style. Some of his music was absolutely fantastic dreamy and sad at the same time.

No, I didn't have that album... I had the London conversation, the Thumbler and Solid air.
My absolute favorite was and still is Grace&Danger.

A few years back I got Serendipity as a gift, its okay but I still go back to Grace&Danger (probably because my marriage was going kapoooeee in 1980/81 when it was released) It just seemed to hit the nerve...

worse. I have CDs but no player!!! but the radio is still music!! I am leaving here soon, my kids are away and I want to go have lunch with my husband. Its a beautiful summer day and I dont want to be inside much longer. So I am not really worried today about the music. I will need to fix it before winter tho!!!

    Hi Brenda.
    glad you liked the images...

    Hi dennisematt
    Try web radios.
You'll find almost all you like to listen to at no cost.
An average sound system for your PC should do and it's not
    very expensive.

thats really good advice, but currently I have windowsME and the flash player that came with it. It was made in like..1998, I think, and I am on dial up...I have tried but I can not get stations on my computer.  sad I am going to be fixing that soon tho!! as a bonus, I now know the weather forecast.

by the way arun this is (goodfriendiam) I changed my user name. I like so much music. And do u know whats funny, unless I hear the name of the band or singer, I don't remember. I listen to more music on the radio then anything. But growing up I liked, rock, pop, heavy metal, rap, new age, alternative and the list goes on and on, I'm really not that picking. I enjoy listening to the words as much as the melody. smile
