When I type in the comments box on my hubs, they keep disappearing as I write. Is it just me? Never had this before.
Hasn't happened to me...only problam I have been having is when i hit comment after writing it, it doesn't who up. What I did and do to fix it is close out the internet, then restart it up again and it fixes itself.
LOL.
It would seem to me that "who" = "show".
The "s" was obviously out to lunch during the making of her comment.
That's just rude.
wow I type too fast sorry it is supposed to say Show up...it doesn't show up after I hit the comment button. Sorry Dolores.
I'm stating to think that to 'who up' has a nice ring to it.
I was wondering what "who up" meant to.
Actually, I kind of wish it really did mean something. It sounds kind of cool.
I make words up all the time. lmao maybe I should make my own dictionary. HAHA The Dictionary of Crazdwriter's slang!
Who up could be a new verb indeed. I'm gonna use it and credit it to crazdwriter.
BTW, strange things seem to occur on hp these days, like hubs showing there are 0 comments on them when in reality they have tons.
How about, if someone asks someone with a screen name what their real name is.... Whether or not the person with the screen name reveals his real name could be whether or not he is willing to "who up".
If a couple of people start to brag about themselves and try to out-do the other, maybe it would be a case of "who-ups-manship".
could be just a hub glitch.. which browser do you use have you tried emptying the cache to see if it makes any difference?
Ok. I'll stop. Besides, I have to go educate myself by reading some Swine flu info on the site of the World Health Organization. After I've studied up I can say I've "WHO'd up" on flu info.

There is a new short comment on one of articles I have edited lately. The system has indicated that it is Spam.I wonder why and how can this be identified?I normally feel that it is right to acknowledge and respond to any comment. In this case I am at a loss as to whether I should.

Here's an annoying glitch:Someone leaves a well-thought-out comment, and you wish to offer an in-kind reply. However, after a few sentences, once the original visible space in the comment box is filled, all of a sudden further typing becomes very problematic, with the text jumping about like...

I would love a feature where if a another hub-page writer comments on any of your hub, instead of you writing the hub-page author name, you click on it while in comments and it places the name of the author you are responding to in the comment box. The author name placed in the comment box can then...

What do you think of getting one-word comments? How do you feel when you get one-word comments on your hubs? I can't decide. I'm really pleased people bother to comment at all, but at the same time much prefer getting longer comments. I don't think I've ever left only a one-word comment on a hub or...

If a visitor to any given hub makes a comment I believe that's a good thing. But what if that visitor leaves a link, usually embedded into their name, to another website or another hub. Thsi has happened a lot and generates a lot of questions in my mind. For example; If the hub is on back pain and...

There seems to be a problem posting comments on HubPages. I am only able to answer one comment at a time before I have to go back to the email notifications to answer another on the same Hub. Is anyone else experiencing this problem. It is not something I have ever...
