Adsense does not normally pay based on page views, but on clicks. If no one clicked any of the ads you will not get any money. The more page views you get, the more likely it is that you will get some clicks.
Like quotations said, Adsense pays when a viewer clicks on an add, However the new HP Ads pays you on a per visit basis.
Yes it is very much normal. Because you get money on ad clicks and ad clicks cannot be measured by a set rule. It is very much uncertain. It may be possible that for 100 views you got 0 cents and for next 1 view you get 1 ad click and you may get $0.30 for that click. Normally I get 1$ per 1000 views. So hope you understand and apply this in your expectations.
generally adsense does not pay for views, but if your keyword has a high value, you may see a few cents for about 1K views. What you want to do is write using keywords for topics that people will be looking to click on an ad.

My adsense earnings have reduced from dollars to only a few cents per month. Revenue used to average about 40 cents per click, now it is only one or two cents per click, if there is any click at all. Just wondering if it is the same for everyone.

I do not know whether it is right to ask this in this forum as per Adsense guide lines. For the last 7 days I got 1250 clicks which produced an average of 5.7 cents per click at Hubages. As a result my earnings have dropped. I think it is quite low compared to the clicks I have received for my...
