Is hubpages here to help really, if so who? just saying
Writing is obviously fun, popular and all, but lets face it Hubpages was advertised to you most of us for free as a means to generate income. What are your thoughts?
I never really expected to generate income. I am just not always sure they publish the hubs.
I have roughly 50 hubs. And if I keep writing even day I usually have about 20-30 people visit my hubs per day. If I want to work hard I can boost those numbers up to 100...150 a day by using various websites. But it seems like no matter how many people visit your pages per day. You just dont earn like they promised. In fact their supposed success stories...i wonder if they are even real. Or if they are real, is that what they were able to earn years ago when hubpages earned everyone more?
In truth I am disappointed with hubpages. Problem is, is there is not a whole lot of other options if your enjoy writing and want to earn a little bit on the side.
Since I don't pay HubPages any money to use the site and my Hubs do earn me money, it is a free means to generate income. It does however require time and effort, which are an investment.

I've been on HubPages now for about 10 months and it took that long to generate 100.00, but since I hit my 100th hub or so my monthly revenue has gone up about 30.00 a month and I'm starting to see some decent change rolling in now.. seems a snowball effect happens when you get enough chump change...

Can I?I have a couple of smaller accounts. As Amazon currently operates, my earnings go into one pot. From what I can understand, that won't happen once HP take over my Amazon. Or am I wrong? If I'm not, why not? I am going to lose out as it is, and I can't see the separation of my HP accounts being...

I'm exploring to this whole hub concept... is it really worth all the hassle and uncertainty of writing/working for yourself online or do you think it's better to just get a real brick-and-mortar job?
