I tried submitting one of my hubs to some social bookmarking sites and I got this back:
"URL is invalid or blocked"
Does anyone know why?
It means that particular bookmarking site has blocked hp - probably because of the spammers Most bookmarking sites dont allow you to submit your own hubs - one that does is bloggingzoom but they ban hubpages - only allows blogs. you cant win somedays!
What Lissie said. And in addition to that, sometimes a tracker in the URL can cause it to not work.

I've been using a variety of social bookmarking sites to increase traffic and for the do-follow links, due to a great hub by Ryankett, thanks Ryan!! Recently though, on a few sites like Kirsty or Wagg, even after several months, my bookmarks are all marked as "submitted", but none of them...

I've heard that social bookmarking sites like digg, reddit and stumbleupon are a great way to generate a ton of traffic fast. I haven't tried them though... Is it against HubPages rules to do so?

Just tried to use propeller to put up a few hubs... got this message on the first one... " This domain has been banned for the following reason: "pr0n spam" "What's the deal with this? Is everywhere going to be banning the HP domain?ProCW
