What do you feel when you get accolades in Hubpages?
For me, I become overjoyed. I don't know, it just feels great to earn those accolades. How about you?
I get pretty excited when I see a new accolade. It always feels like an accomplishment to me, so it's a pretty nice surprise when I receive a new one.
I am thankful to learn my writing has helped someone - either with a factual piece, entertainment value, or a recipe. I appreciate anytime someone takes to comment on my writing -- especially fan mail.
I don't 'feel' anything, I 'think', what a waste of time little electronic medals are.
Me also feels proud of myself, on getting accolades, at least it is proof of our activity right?
I love accolades. Like you, I am thrilled to get a new accolade, Accolades are like a pat in the back, saying "Good job, matey!" I was even excited to receive my one year accolade, which is given to everyone who had been on Hubpages a year, active or not.
I love getting the HP accolades! They make me feel good about myself and what I am doing here. It is nice to be recognized for an accomplishment or for reaching a certain milestone. This really makes me want to keep on writing and to do my best. For the most part I usually enjoy writing hubs but sometimes it's hard work, especially if I have to do a lot of research. It always makes me feel proud when I see that I have earned another one. I think the accolades are great!
I feel elated and inspired to do well and better not only for earning's sake for for one's growth and progress as well.
I get excited and happy when I receive an accolade. I also feel proud when I see those cute little trophies on my profile. They serve as reminders that I have stuck with something long enough or done something well enough to be recognized for it.
I guess I can't really do anything except be envious of those who have received accolades as of right now. One day, if I do get one, I will be sure to stop back in on this question and let you know how I feel!
Happy! I feel like I accomplished something on hubpages. It's very exciting to see a new accolade!
I love it. Especially when they are totally unexpected. I just won the hubnugget accolade this morning. It was an unexpected nomination and completely unexpected win. Makes me want to do even more. Humans thrive on reward and recognition. As long as its consistent then it's wonderful.
I feel proud and so much happy to see accolades on my profile. These accolades encourage me to get more awards and write more hubs. I try to think new topics to write in a good way so i can earn more accolades from Hubpages. I think the accolades are great. This is a good way to encourage.
Wow! A lot of people really love getting accolades, just like I do.
It's nice yes-but some accolades go away & come back whenever. Like the commenter accolade-it can come and go just like a higher hub-score.
At the end yes it is a nice encouragement to continue to work hard!
Of course I feel excited and happy, I guess most would agree. Something that would charge you up.
Elated! I LOVE getting accolades, they are a cute little reminder that people are paying attention to what we do. They would be a good conversation starter on an interview, shows how loyal we are to our writing craft. Keeps us coming back.
Great question! We love being rewarded by our work, such simple pleasures, LOL!
I felt surprised because I just started out writing hubs and didn't expect anything like that to happen yet. And of course I was happy about it, just felt glad that my writing was helping someone out there.
In the Hubpages Community, writers are given a challenging yet fulfilling quest of winning accolades. This effectively encourage writers more because it adds adventure, but others think that they are just a waste of effort and time. To wit, what do these accolades really mean? And what can they imply about the hubbers? read more

Hi, All. This was my first recognition and award from HubPages that I received in 2014. It is a sweet memory. I thank you all for making this happen.

Do you think, it would be very encouraging to get accolades after completing every 10,000 views?

When someone posts a hub like "How to be succesful on Hubpages" I look at their total page views accolade to see if they really are succesful. If that person has hundreds of hubs but only 1000 page views accolade, well....If that hubber has an accolade for 100,000, he may have 900,000...
