A serious business decision

Since I started writing here to make money, and I haven't been all too pleased with my income from Adsense (none at all from Amazon), I've made what I consider a business decision.

I'm taking all my frugal living hubs off of HubPages and moving them to website pages.  I don't have the marketing flexibility with HubPages that I need.

I'll still keep all my hubs that are unrelated to my website here, and of course, I'll still write here from time to time.  I just need to concentrate on getting my website together, and I spend way too much time playing here!  LOL

Thanks to everyone who has helped me, and I'll be linking to my hubs and related hubpages from my site, and hope to get some backlinks from here.

I really love this place!  I just need to move on to more gainful pursuits right now.

Thanks to the creators of HubPages for getting me started, and spurring me on to turn my writing into a job, not a pasttime!

Please let us know how this works out for you, dear.  Working from the ground up is hard, but can be very rewarding.

If you need any graphics made for your website, shoot me an email (which you can do through a visit to my profile page. big_smile) and we can talk price. tongue

Thanks, sweetie, but one of my hobbies is making graphics.  I'm a woman of many faces!  wink

Thanks, Mark.  It's going to be a process, not a sudden move.  I've already redone my homepage and will have the main frugalities page done before the day is out.  I've figured I'll probably be able to move about one or two pages a day, so it will take awhile!

Dafla, just thought I'd haul this thread back up so people won't forget you - I'd hate you to think we don't care!

Do you have reason to be confident your own website will bring more reward than Hubbing, or is it just a hunch/optimism?  Please share!
