Today is my Anniversary! How many years ago was it that I got married? lol just kidding! He is supposed to be the one to forget

Have no real plans today but I guess I shouldn't spend all day on the puter writing hubs n posting in forums.

I love halloween, always puts me in the mood for love
For visa reasons we had to get married during the winter season (fall/winter). We were not to keen really then thought why not halloween? It will always be easy to remember, even tho it is likely going to be cold it should always be fun!
We even told all our guests to come in costume! We did! He was a vampire and I was a succubusThat is so cool

It was totally amazing! So much fun! We both made something for our wedding outfits, he made a velvet matrix style jacket, I made a cape with a hood, black/red reversible with a wind stopper layer in the middle.
We thought we were being so original then guess what? The venue where we got married had a few other weddings that day who were also in costume!
It was great as we didn't really have any money to make a big affair of getting married and our biggest cost ended up being the sewing machine (which we still use so well worth it). It was a great way to make it a very special day without having to go into major debt.I think that's one secret to a happy marriage...starting out inexpensively! Congrats on your Anniversary.
Hey did you make a hub about it? I'll be really interested in reading it.
I have not, but I should think about it. There could be a lot of fun in writing it. Who knows it may inspire people to 'think outside the box' in terms of getting married when you don't have much money but want something special.....
Gonna have to put my thinkin hat on for this one lol

I got the best anniversary treat today!
Our local tattoo parlor was giving away free tattoo's today.
Hubby got his first ever! I got my second!
The choices were halloween related and since we got married on halloween it seemed like it would be something we both felt had a deeper meaning

The took pics for the web site, the artist was an apprentice and these will go to help her build up her portfolio. I am going to let mine wait till its healed before I take any pics now. It might be difficult to get a pic of Clive's as its very close to an area of his body that would be somewhat *cough* adult
