Were you able to get your Google Adsense set up to start earning money on HubPages?

In order to start earning money from HubPages, hubbers need to set up a Google Adsense account for themselves, then configure their Google Adsense account with HubPages.

I seem to be on terminal review by Google.  I signed up in February and have written 23 hubs.  The only e-mail I have received said that I would hear in 4-5 business days.  I wish we had other options.

Have you contacted Google directly? I don't work for Google, but it seems like that is a long time to be dealing with an approval.

No its still pending.  My application has been sent. Google states it takes a week to process. Is this normal?

Getting an Ad sense account take its own time. For Indians it can even take 6 months.  But great quality hubs and good traffic can improve the approval of Ad sense account by a great margin.  You can try Hub pages ads and Amazon and Ebay earning programme in the mean time.  Hub page ad programme is better than Ad sense in generating revenue for you.

I already had an Adsense account when I joined HubPages, so it was relatively easy to do the settings on HubPages and start earning money on HubPages. Very many hubbers earn money on HubPages. It's certainly possible.

I've had an Adsense account for years. It wasn't hard to set up and it's easy to add websites to it. I'm on HPs program though. It pays better than Adsense so far.

Really I think it is all very unpredictable. I try to write what interests me and do it carefully and not focus to much on the ad revenue. If I focus on the $ I go nuts really fast.

    Yes, I did

Thanks for asking! Now the tricky part is getting traffic so I can start generating money.

You are an awesome writer. You write what readers want to read, so your traffic will come, no doubt.

I tried to sign up and Google Adsense told me I have to be a member for 5 months. Now that I hit the 5-month mark Google Adsense says I have to be a member for 6 months.  So now I have to wait another month to sign up for this Adsense?

I'm so sorry to hear this. I had not heard of it taking so long until now. I have had my Google Adsense account for many years, so when I came to HubPages I was already set up. Six months is an awfully long time to wait.

Yes my application was approved after I had published approx. 8 hubs and my traffic is slowly increasing and I am already making a couple of cents a day! I read that Google only pays you if you have reached 50 dollars though, so it will still take a couple of months until I will get paid. But I will keep publishing and trying to increase my traffic because I am sure with a lot of work and effort I will be successful here.

It was easy to set it up, but in the 7 weeks I've been with Hub Pages, I've only made a few cents.
