   Personally - I am intensely uncomfortable with people writing hubs with Amazon capsules in them about this.
   
   Where do these religionists get the idea that "god has a plan for Noah" and it is OK to make a few bucks in the process?
   
   I have - of course - sent him a card - but seriously? How is it OK to try and make money from this?

      I haven't seen any with amazon capsule ads in them, Adsense yes but you can't control those, I do agree with you though

            Hey Mark Thanks for the tip... honestly, though I have written 3 hubs... I was feeling the same way, but decided to write the hubs anyway for other people to find and spread awareness.
            
            I am glad for this tip because now I will not have to be self-conscious about it. I promise you, making money off of Noah was never my intent (as I never added amazon or ebay capsules), I honestly didn't know you could delete google ads and I am glad you told me how

               It wasn't yours I was talking about - I can understand the adsense because they are on by default, and most people do not know how to turn them off. But - you have to actively add amazon capsules and pick the products and I found it in rather bad taste that some one did that.

                  Wow someone did that? email me whos Mark so if I have them linked to my list I will delete it. I don't want to be associated with someone who purposely tries selling things when we are trying to bring awareness about something as important as this. And I too turned off my adsense for that one and my Ft. Hood hub.

      Seconded, I felt the same about all the Micheal Jackson hubs that appeared seconds after he died claiming to be 'terribly upset' by it all, but covered with eBay/Amazon widgets, just wrong, and I didn't even like Jacko.
      
      But this ^ is even worse.

         Hey Maddie, how's it going? thanks to you and all the rest of the team for fixing the earlier hub problem. 
         
         I know this is supposed to be about Noah, and I dont want to take away from him, but cleary eveyrone whos going to listen did already...I wanted to say that before this thread, I always wanted to do something about sick kids, and also how awful it is for thier families. I know Ive been told..be a detective, and Just DO something, I am sorry to say I am not so good at coming up with ideas on my own. Maybe I should be, I dont know. I just wanted to say thanks to all the people who care, and who also are able to figure stuff out and tell the rest of us.

          oh, I know. Me too. Im just trying to not break any forum rules, plus I dont want to step on anyones toes. This is such a sensitive subject...ya know? we arent supposed to just say bump....but then a little conversattion is all..this is about noah!! so..well..its hard to make everybody happy..luciendasky is way beter at it..but..well..I hope she feels better soon!!!!
          If its the same thing I had last week and the kids have taken turns on, she should be all better by tomorrow.

             Sensitive subject, yes. I was unsure about whether to keep it up or not, but then I was reassured when I saw the carepages page of Noah's mother. They enjoy receiving the cards it seems.
             Luci is doing great, just like everyone else. There is no need to compare. You are absolutely fantastic, for one.

    It talked about how Noah received 80,000 cards and his family was having Christmas early this year because he's so sick he may not live to see December 25th.  I was curious as to whether or not other news outlets had picked up the story.
