Should followers be listed in alphabetical order?
I mean wouldn't it be nice if all our followers were listed in alphabetical order...it would be so much easier to find ONE in particular....could be my Catholic School origins or just a sense of order but I think an alphabetical listing would be helpful.
I fully agree with you. With so many people now joining Hubpages because it has gone popular, now everyone is having more and more followers, so many a times it gets impossible to find the one you are looking for. It would be easier to find the person if you are looking for a particular one.
I had not considered it. Yes it's a great idea, things could then be so much simpler. Full support from me.
Graham.
Yes! That's a great idea, even if they only implement it on the "Your Followers" page.
Yes. I totally agree. It would be so much easier to keep up with them if they were in alphabetical order.
I guess by now you know that majority is for it to be arranged alphabetically. So, just by putting in my vote for the proposal I am trying to support a cause now.
Naturally, I agree with you 100%. Unfortunately, they are listed in the order at which they originally chose to follow us. So, like you, I find it a bit frustrating to FIND one in particular. We would have to have steel trap minds, to recall who began following us when.......yeah, that'll happen.
I do however use little tricks, such as look for a hubber in our feed, which seems quicker......or, go to a hub of my own that I am sure that hubber commented on. Also, we can use the search engine in the right hand corner.
Alphabetically listing our followers would solve the issue quite simply! And it sure looks like EVERYONE agrees!
Yes, I think it’s a good idea. It should be like the Following list, but with the included date of inception, instead of the present oldest to newest format. It would also make it easy to compare Followers with Followings.

This is a great idea, I could use this sometimes.
Additionally, it would be great to be able to choose between alphabetical order and chronological - I barely remember who were my first followers and who did I follow first.
The chance to choose between the listings would make loads of things much more easier. Even if I have 150+ followers now, sometimes I find it very difficult to find the one I am looking for.
I am so with you on this one, tillsontitan! Sometimes I just give up searching through followers trying to find someone. It's like they were all thrown into a box and then the box was shaken and upended so all the names fall out on the floor any ole which way. Very frustrating for someone that prefers to have everything in order and organized...it's starting to make my left eye twitch again....
good idea, would save a lot of time when searching for info etc about flowers.
Yes, I think so too. It's really annoying if you are trying to find a specific follower and you have to sift through your whole list because they aren't listed alphabetically.
I completely agree with you - especially if you have a lot of followers it can be hard to find one follower in particular.
Not a bad idea. Never thought about it before. Probably because I only have 16 followers. However, for those of you with hundreds of followers, I do see the need.
I think they should. It would make finding a specific follower much easier. I always prefer things to be alphabetized and in some kind of order. Everything in my classroom is in ABC order.
I agree, I was looking for someone the other day and gave up because it was taking forever to find them in my list. There should at least be a sort button where you can sort them. And a search area just for your followers would also be nice.
I support this proposition! Because while I currently do not have enough followers for this to matter, I hope to see this slight inconvenience resolved by the time I do have too many followers to keep track of..... I'm kidding!
I'm going to love that! alphabetical order is more organized and if you already following thousands that would be great to easily locate someone.

I have 172 articles shown in "My Account". When I am looking for a specific article, it is often quite a nightmare to find it. I know there are filters, but I still think it would be helpful and time-saving if one of the filters was simply "Alphabetical Order" and...

Yesterday, I went to a new library and had an irritating time, trying to find books by specific authors. They were all over the place! For instance, I was looking for Kerry Greenwood. There were three shelves of names beginning with "Gree" I found four of her...

I have a lot of hubs, and choosing which ones to place on the carousel is difficult, especially since it is in alphabetical order. Is there any way to include choices like groups or topics like the stats page has, so that it is easier to find the hubs once I decide what I want to feature?...

It's been a while since I've had the problems, but they're back. I'm not sure if it's because I haven't really used the link capsule since my last series, or what...Basically, I add the links, delete the descriptions for each link, arrange the links in alphabetical order, and save the...

How is it possible to know if someone is following you?Is there a way without having to look at hubtivity or passing all your followers list? Alternatively is there a way to organize the followers list in alphabetical order?
