What is your proudest achievement to date on HubPages?

What are you most proud of? I have been here for seven weeks now and am quite proud overall, but if I were to pick just one thing I think it would be my HubNugget. I came first place with 45% of the vote... I was so happy! What's your proudest achievement?

Mine is my Hubnugget, too. And the "hourglass" accolade.

Being a newbie here, it would include publishing my first 10 Hubs and getting some great responses on some of them as well as great encouragement from some of the veterans.

My proudest moments on Hubpages have been my Hubnugget wins and just about everytime someone says something nice about something I've written. This really is a great online community for writing, I've never seen anything like it. smile

My first hub was hub of the day  - later it was my first $50.

I made over $2 in one day with the ad program. My next achievement is receiving my first HubPages payment at the end of the month.

Jake-congratulations!  Ya' dun good! hee hee, and in only 7 weeks.  Keep up the awesome writing and interacting in those forums.  smile

Me-I enjoyed receiving the Hubnugget aware as a newbie, (Soul Work: JOY), and with each accolade my confidence grew.  So...my very latest accomplishment from HP that I am proud of?

I received a judges pick and $50 for one of my recipes that I submitted during the recipe contest this past summer.   Now, why this is sooo amazing to me is because:
    1.  Ask my kids-they will tell you I was a lousy cook when they were growing up and tell tales of some of the 'creations' I came up with...I'm sure NOT at all healthy, LOL

    2.  I never had the INTEREST in cooking or the patience, when they were younger but have developed this over the years and cooking has become one of my passions (see my Peach and Pecan Pie video, haha)

    3. The actual hub that won...well, I literally threw that together because of the tantalizing tomato / mozzarella cheese appetizer that my daughter put together during my visit with her in May.  It looked brightly colored, healthy and just plain yummy looking.  So, I felt very strongly that I had to use it.

I guess it was the food muse that prompted me to enter that particular choice and I followed her lead.    Gee...didn't think I had so much to say about the subject, but apparently I did, haha.

Just to think that people would find what I write interesting enough to read it 10,000 + times is such a humbling feeling. I really feel blessed.

So far, my proudest achievement to date is creating my first Hub! Next will be to receive my first comment.

Creating a bond with so many diverse writers through reading and comment and sharing has been the most wonderful experience and achievement.

I guess if I had to choose a hub, it would be my story and advice about "How to Keep Blonde Hair from Turning Green."  LOL  Yes, it happened to me. :-)
