Anyone heard from Misha lately? Just wondering, it's been a week or so and not a peep. Very unusual for Misha.
He posted in a different thread that he was taking a break from the forums but he's around and he's okay.
Misha answers here:
that thread is locked, but from what i can surmise, he was driven away by comments like these:
Misha replies: I think I will stay away from HP for a while, at least from the forums. I just got really tired of explaining why white is white and black is black to people who just don't get it, and being called all kinds of names for this, sorry to a handful of you who do get it...
how is this funny, however many smilies you pepper it with?
*tsk* bad form all around...Misha isn't the first person Q&T was rude to.
<--- mad face
The is f**cked up! Answer I, if you agree...
Most religious zealots on the forum are arseholes and they should be banned from participating in the forums because they take the insults to a whole new level.
I say I.
Okay, he is alive and well but he says he probably isn't going to come back to posting in the forums at least for now. Said it has lost its uniqueness because of all the new hubbers... in short, it is just like any other forum now... something like this.
But at least he is alive and his family is well, that's all that counts.
LOVE YOU MISHA!!!!
I kinda thought we wanted to encourage new hubbers...can't please everyone I guess!
I miss him. I think he's referring to the ones here that use it like a chat room interrupting threads, those that really have nothing of value to say, we all get tired of that. it's juvenile.
kpartin, if you open up the link posted above, you can see why he's taking a leave from here...
Thanks for your post cosette. I read the other thread including the references to the insults. I was thinking about a much less constructive comment to some of the above, like "this is how rumors get started".
I miss Misha and hope he doesn't stay away too long.
...which is why i stay out of the religious forums now. more than one of those so-called Christians have taken little bites out of me from time to time and i finally had enough. they are simply not worth my time or attention. it's just too bad Misha got dinged. he's a nice chap.
oh, and he makes sense when he comments too, Hope he comes back soon because we surely miss him!
He will always come back, he is probably just busy.
And those were the comments AFTER he said he was leaving, how bad must it have been to make him go? I couldn't believe I was seeing what I was seeing.
I have been here for a long time, it will take sometime for him to come back as well as Mark, be patient something will tickle his toes and he will comment. I do have to agree the forums have changed but Misha is strong he will be back.
Yeah, some people have a "hair trigger" on their mouth... or keyboarding... or self control.
I like Misha too. He is one of the grown ups here.
He has a good heart and lots of good advice.

HI I'm new.. and I think.. that if someone (that isn't a Hub Page Member)visits my Hub page and scrolls to the bottom of my page they can see all the forum activity I have been a part of. I'd rather this info not be available for the world to see... is there a way to "turn off" the...

I have noticed that an increasing number of people seem to have joined this site merely to spam religion on the forum. This would be okay if it was not for the fact that this is a forum for writers, not theists.I am all for having a community forum, but I believe it should be a community forum for...

Okay this is great! I downloaded it this morning, and it's really working wonderfully. We all know Edweirdo, a very clever and useful hubber who created the HubDefender tool for us all which detects hub-theft and assists in dealing with it. Edweirdo has also written many helpful tutorial hubs on...
