How can I share hubs...and does anywhere out there share their own hubs?
I only share mine on Facebook and Pinterest - occasionally Twitter when they're first published or I do a big edit. I don't have the energy for any other promotion!
Thanks for the response. What exactly is a big edit? And do you think Pinterest is worth joining?
A big edit for me is something that's been reworked or almost completely rewritten. I do get some traffic from Pinterest, I have about 40 followers. Every little bit counts, though.
You don't need to share your new hubs on HubPages. Your followers will already have them in their feed. To share a hub, just look in the right-hand column and click where it says HubPages Followers.
Well, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and stumbleupon. I especially find stumbleupon and Facebook to be the most effective. Pinterest not so much. Hope this helps. I have also found that if you write high quality words with 1200 words or at least 500 word, lots of media support then you don't even have to worry about sharing. Traffic will just come by itself. All the best.
Pinterest is worth joining. Most days I only see a few visitors from that site but last Sunday I had about 100. It really depends on the image you are able to attach to the hub.
Stumbleupon sends more than Pinterest. It helps to get more followers on that site, persons that will see your posting.
I post all new articles on twitter and see visitors from there.
Yes, I share my own hubs at times. I do not agree with Sherry´s comments since at times I publish and my hub is lost in the "feed". Sharing it with followers the next day, at a normal hour, does seem to get some visits. Not many, but Hubbers are more likely to leave comments.
I do not use Facebook.
Hi ! I get a lot of views from Facebook . Join in the forum Reccommend another hubbers hub to be promoted . Do some hub hopping and leave comments . Answer questions on Yahoo answers as you can add a link there .
There are so many ways to share your hubs !
I forgot to mention YA but I do get a lot of visits from there, and they show up later when someone searches that topic on google. I think YA is actually more important than stumbleupon.

I don't get into these fights and disagreements with what HP does on a regular basis. But I looked at my Hubs and I only saw the four sites; Flipboard, Pinterest, Facebook and email in my share icons over the past week or so. What happened to G+ ?????This one doesn't make sense to me considering...

Dear Precious Followers,I have, what some of you might see as a stupid question, but I need to ask it anyway. When I am ready to hit the "publish now" button on a finished hub, and I hit the "White H on black background" button to the left, do I get a notice from HP stating...

If we pump up our use of social media, i.e., marketing our articles more, will it help increase our traffic much? Or won't it make much difference because we are more dependent upon organic traffic? Something tells me we might have to wait out this drought. What say you?

Which social media sites are the best to place your hubs?I have been placing them on my Facebook author page, which has brought traffic to them. I also have them on Stumbleupon. Are Twitter and Pinterest just as effective?

Who has successfully used this site? How did you do it? I'm trying to avoid inundating my friends on FB and Twitter with "Hey, check out my site!" types of statuses (because I feel it's kind of rude), but I also am having a hard time figuring out what else to do in regards to promoting.
