Why is my HubScore at 100?

Why is my HubScore at 100?

I was actually just wondering about this because I had been at 100 before and then it suddenly dropped down to 93 or something. Then it was at 95 for a few days and now, suddenly, it's at 100 again. I don't really know why. Perhaps the fact I don't know why will drop it back down because having a HubScore of 100 should mean you know how to get it there in the first place. Anyone with any insight?

I share your sentiments, crankalicious. Why is mine 88 (at least today, 3/5 at 11:04pm EST)? I have no idea, especially when it used to fluctuate in the low nineties, once hitting 95. They tell us not to worry about it but it's hard not to be curious about. I'm sure that if you could keep yours at 100, you would. I have a feeling that it's affected more by things we have no control over rather than the things we do.

Nobody knows. Mine hits 100 on occasion, it's usually not after I've done anything especially noteworthy. Just enjoy it while it's there.

HubScore behaves like stock market with a breaker at 100. Have you ever seen going over and above 100. If your score remains between 80 to 100 it means your hubs are spinning money for you. When all the Hubber's score 100 then HubPages will have Top Rank No.1 Globally. Let us make it possible. I think 100 is the saturation level at which no more sugar can be added to the water unless and until it is heated. Make your hubs Hot, why hot rather the hottest,

I'm happy for you that you reached (and hover around) such a wonderful pinnacle. I believe I got as high as 94 but I'm now at 78. Does it really matter? Is there any reason why great Hubs rise and fall like the water cycle? I'm not sure. But happy is wherever your heart is and I'm just glad to be here at this moment with all my Happy Hubbers!--Deb

It's a system, a complicated system that I don't think is meant to be understood.  It's more of a gimmick to keep us interested and "on our toes" but I believed it's probably the result of some arbitrary folks behind the scenes just assigning numbers for this exact reason.  To generate interest.

I guess we shouldn´t worry too much about the numbers, it would be like a restaurant getting michelin stars and hitting 3 stars. it´s fantastic while you have it, but then comes the crash. Loose a star and chef´s have been driven to despair.
Be happy with reasonable number and you will never feel like an absolute failure.

I will be completely honest - I am completely jealous! Wow! I dream of a being a writer but alas I am just a simple "scrapbooker" with some words behind me.

    Great job! Congratulations!

When I joined HP my scored started out low then it dropped all the way to 0.  Following the avice of some people I did some frog-hopping, answering questions, posting comments on hubs.  And got my score to 80.  I haven't done much since getting the score up there-and getting bak to work-and it has been staying steady at 79.  i have been getting more hubs published.
