I was sitting here taking a break from writing a couple of hubs and really got to thinking about all of the hubbers who are ordinary hubbers but take a lot of time out of their own busy lives to help others here on HubPages. They're the guys and gals that you can always count on to pop in a forum thread and set the record straight and provide info you can take to the bank. Without them, the rest of us would be lost. Just remember, they don't have to do it. They aren't paid to do it, and they aren't thanked enough by the rest of us. Here's your chance.
Here are just a sprinkling of the ones I can think of. Please thank all of those that have helped you along the way.
Relache
Sunforged
Darkside
Nelle Hoxie
Yoshi97
Mark Knowles
Marissa Wright
Frogdropping
Uninvited Writer
Irohner
Kidgas
Ryankett
Lynnechandler
I agree, you should be included in the list, include Rebekahelle and Helen Cater too
Fully agreed. We are all thankful for folks for welcoming newcomers and giving them a hand when they reach out for help.
When it comes to flagging spam and other forms of inappropriate content as well, I would give them a second round of applause (and please add yourself to the list, too, KCC). All of you guys help keep the site clean.
Flagging spam is kinda like a hobby now, as I'm getting pretty good at locating them on the fly and reporting them. Why, just the other day I reported this hubber by the name of Jason Menayan who then went on to claim he was a hubpages staff member, but I saw through his thin disguise.
*Yoshi looks at the message he just responded to and the name of the hubteam member who just wrote it - Jason Menayan*
Ah crap! Does this mean I'm in trouble again?
right on!
i would like to give kudos to Dohn for being such a supportive guy, and lyricsingray for being such a positive force for many people, and JaneCM is very helpful as well. i just know i am forgetting someone...
oh wait, BadCompany. he was one of the first hubbers on here who was very welcoming and kind to me. and CW always makes me laugh, and ralwus is a very nice gentleman also. please don't be mad if i forgot you anyone. it is pretty late and i am running on fumes. 'nite.
You are right. All these have helped me - particularly Guru Relache, Guru Darkside and Guru Knowles. I want to take this opportunity to thank them all xxxx
Well, yeah, don't know why exactly but thank you!
Hear! Hear! Voting also for KCC, Dale and Ultimate Hubber .
Yeah they are indeed with special mention to relache, sun, Noelle, ryan, irohner, frog, marissa and darkside...
While you were posting I added Lynnechandler too. I don't consider myself in the same category as all of them, but thank you.
KCC Helps:
http://hubpages.com/hub/Hubbers-Reachin … Page-Views
there is some traffic models for ya
Most lists I find myself on are not the lists I want to be associated with - haha! - but I consider this list as one I feel honored to be a part of.
Yoshi : http://hubpages.com/hub/Hubbing-101-How … thor-Score
Good for new hubbers, hint
Um, wow, I don't know what to say. I saw the post a few minutes ago but was doing something else and was going to come back and post that you yourself need to be on the list. I'm really honored to be here among these greats.
Now, besides KCC and the ones listed I have to add Crazdwriter because she always lifts me up. Couple of others in that category are Cosette and Lyricsingray.
Awesome thread KCC really appreciate you thinking of including me.
There are too many to list and don't want to leave anyone out, but I am so grateful for all those who have helped in the forums and as I was a newbie and still ongoing. Mahalo nui loa (thank you very much - in Hawaiian). Hope you are blessed for your efforts.
I understand how you feel Elayne001. I too fear I've left someone invaluable out, and if I did, I profusely apologize!
Good list, KCC - they are all great hubbers and with their track record of helpfulness and wise advice, they are well worthy of our thanks and gratitude.
okay here are my additions to that cool list you started KCC: mistywild, myownworld, Denno, Steven, Zadrobi, Beth100, B.C., ummm....shoot there are too many from me to even list lol
If you'll go back up Lynne had already added you. And you do belong on the list.
Yeah! Thank you for all of your helpful tips and cheers.
Thank you KCC and CW for the lists.
I am thankful to all of you.
YAY
The list is awesome. I really dont know who I could add even though I know there are more.
I have had help from many Hubbers who will never even know just because I read so many hubs.
A big thanks to all of you
Cheers
fix up your article marketing theories from dale:
http://hubpages.com/hub/Article-Marketi … mple-Steps
(he has a whole series)
Wow KCC and everyone else, thank you very much. I really don't know what to say.
KCC I really think you should be on the list. Girly_girl09 is in school now and doesn't come round much, but she did share a great deal this summer. I hope she comes around during the holidays. And Dale Mazurek has been a wealth of info since he joined us.
Well, I am most definatly honored to be part of this lucrative list but I did have to learn the hard way.
I dont hide the fact that I am an affiliate marketer and 2 years ago I was banned from Hubpages for being a spammer.
I did learn from my mistakes and in no way shape or form does my affiliate carreer involve any spamming and I figured since I was given a second chance I wouldnt waste it.
I absolutely adore this place and I will work even harder to be helpful to those who require assistance in this great place.
see someone who truly takes advantage of the hub platform in a winning way
http://hubpages.com/hub/french-connection-dress
KCC, you are just the sweetest thing! Thank you and everyone else. It's people like you all that make helping as and when we can so easy and enjoyable!
You're right Nelle, Dale and GirlyGirl should be added to the list as well.
Thanks for stopping by Jason! Please understand that we fully appreciate all of the superstars at HubPages Headquarters who are also the unsung heroes at HP. We very much appreciate your assistance and allowing us a fun place to express ourselves and have some fun. Making money while doing it doesn't hurt too much either.
Adding my thanks and round of applause!
Many, many groovy people here. So glad to be a part of such a good community.
Darkside is by far the best one on here.she should be on that list atleast 5 times.big ups darkside
Yoshi, is that really you? Cause um dang and wow!
Yoshi, it's the sophisticated smile. Very reminiscent of James Bond, I'm thinking the guy that played Remmington Steel, can't remember his name.
Pierce Brosnan? It's a great photo Yoshi. Very distinguished.
lol I was just about to say that thank you Yoshi
wow kcc, what a nice thread!! and gosh, so honored to be of help to anyone! all of the people you listed have and continue to help me immensely, and so many others. I came onto this site having no clue what SEO meant!!
I've learned so much. Every day I learn something new and being a teacher, the greatest way I know to learn something is to share it. honored to be here and enjoy HP so much!!
there are many, many good people here who never come into the forums.
it's a great community.
AEvans should be on that list as she is brilliant at supporting new writers. She takes the time to read their hubs and leaves comments.
Add Cindyvine, John Chancellor, Resspencer, BC, Crazd, Redelf, KCC, oh, there are sooo many of you!!! I know I can't list everyone, so a big THANK YOU to you all!!
dohn121 is someone I would like to add to the list. . .supportive and helpful from the minute I stepped on to this wonderful site . .and he is always there with a kind word and a helping hand....add to that his talent . .. he is my hero, everyday here!
You forgot Misha he was great for flagging spam and is very protective of hubbers who have been or are being harassed.
OMG...thanks guys for adding Dohn, AEvans and MISHA...how could I forget Misha????
I am new on this thing. So i wouldn't know if darkside was a man or woman.Seems like a girly picture to me.Also in these threads do we have to stick to the subject or you just say what is on your mine.Maybe the people in the list can help me.Since you all think so highly of them
I am certain that anyone of us could help you everyone on here seems to be an expert in some area on HP.
Traditionally, In forums, a thread is a conversation whose title dictates its purpose..as in conversation, tangential topics tend to occur.
Completely changing a topic intentionally with some sort of jackass or promotional statement is usually frowned on by all..sometimes called threadjacking or hijacking.
For a busy forum community, hubpages is very lax about on-topic conversation compared to most.
So you really can just " say whatever is on your mine," but if you notice its off topic, it would be best to start a new thread with an appropriate title in an appropriate category rather than pervert the nature of an existing thread
I am curious, if you are unfamiliar with forums, how did you come about your expertise in SEO and traffic generation?
Im not to fond of disseminaters of misinformation either.. for example wtf does this mean
based on your early forum history,
http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/29246
Im not sure your guarantee is worth much
for starters why did my score drop a point.I got the feeling someone don't like me on here
i did approve you mail. That is what you are talking about right
You have stolen content? I didn't get a chance to read your hubs , you cannot use another person's content it is prohibited and not authorized! You have to write original content. I explained the system to you when it came to the hubscoring go back to your hubs and review , run them through spellcheck and do not use anyone's work that is a no-no! You will get banned for that.
Great list, but ya gotta add Crazd, KCC, and Ralwus!
20gsxro5, you'll find that your score goes up and down regularly. Mine shot up 4 points today after it went down from 100 to 95 in one day. It's normal. Don't sweat it - it isn't because someone doesn't like you. And BTW, welcome to HP.
oi...ppl still saying I should b on the list..NOPE NOPE NOPE
oh MPM should be there too earnest and Ron too
@20gsxr05
It seems like some people are going to offer you quality advice, I hope that when they spend this time on you they realize that your content is all stolen or copied and rewritten
"West Central Tech
Each graduate at West Georgia Technical College moldiness be a amenable mate in the acquisition transform and should check all prevalent publicised regulations and procedures required by the College and by the syllabus in which he or she is registered. A stream publicized conception gift not be waived nor testament an omission be granted because a alumna pleads ignorance of the concept or asserts that he or she was not educated of a unique duty by a module consultant or by a College staff member."
That come from your hub on west, ga ... its not english, its not quality content, its stolen content ran through a rewriter badly.
The rest of the hubs are on topics you clearly know nothing about are wrought with misspellings and are of little to no textual content
This person knows what they are doing.. I hope well meaning Hubbers like aevans dont have their time wasted by you..there is only one button required to help him
omg why is it that you think you know me and what i do.sorry if i am not a spelling bee king like you but the last i check they don't have jobs for that kinda thing and if they do then you have a very entertaining life i bet
Spelling Bee King is a prerequisite for becoming a long-term successful online publisher.
There's no excuse for laziness. Use a spell check and proofread at least once before publishing is enough to get most of us by.
I guess you was born with a computer and writeing skills in your hands dude give me a break before you see my darkside
I know you're new.....but man, you gotta chill. You're in a room full of helpful people....but if you get attitude, you'll find yourself on your own. Relax. Ask questions, don't get defensive.
Here I am pointing out how to improve and here you are showing us how unwilling you are to learn.
He was only trying to assist you along with the rest of us but you have to do your part and be willing to learn. **sigh**
Darkside can you show you the ropes:
http://hubpages.com/hub/celebrating-use … -victories
darkside! How ya been dude? We haven't chatted in a while.
I've never even heard of a rewriter. I'm glad my students didn't use such!
20gsxr05
Ok, lets say I believed you and you used a rewriter on your "own" content.
There is a lot of information out there, It can be easy to read the wrong info , or only parts and fail to use the knowledge appropriately.
Im not a spelling bee king, im a terrible typer and I find and fix typos in old work all the time, your misspellings outweigh the content.
Article spinners have a purpose in article marketing...but you wouldnt publish a spun article and expect it to stick on hubpages..you would use it to develop backlinks to your "quality" hubpage submission.
I would hate to think I was harsh and you were legitimate and had just made a few grievous errors.
What makes me lean towards the negative with you, is that your topics are about seo and traffic and marketing, yet your content and behavior shows that these are foreign concepts to you.
misinformation is the bane of the internet, if you didnt "steal" your articles, how did you come upon the knowledge that you used to write about traffic generation and seo?
There's a reason Darkside and Sunforged are at the top of the list, when they speak it's time to sit down and be "vewy, vewy quiet" because if you pay attention, you'll walk away a bit smarter.
20gsxr05, here's another tip, don't quote someone and then say nothing.
It's in the middle of the text, Darkside. He didn't scroll down before typing.
Amen to that.
20gsxr05 you say you're an electrician, so I know that you must have many talents and a lot of smarts.
So you should be able to write clear and interesting hubs. Pick up a dictionary and work at it. Perhaps ask one of your parents - who sound wonderful - to proof it. Then why don't you start a topic in the Extreme Hub Makeover forum and get some tips for improving it from more experienced Hubbers.
Look at the tags above it says spreading hublove and you all are spreading hubhate to new people.Come on if you want me to learn "teach me"
They're trying to help you. I promise that if you'll relax and listen to them, they'll tell you anything you want to know. You really need to work on not being so defensive. Ask questions.
I know your right. It is just some of the expert on here like to make people feel bad cause they think they are steven speilberg
They aren't trying to make you feel bad, 20...they are trying to help and they have good advice. Instead of being so defensive reread what they have to say and your hubs will be better.
You've misunderstood their intentions. I know both of them well and they are trying to explain it to you. But, if you put up this guard and get defensive, you'll only see them as picking on you. Someday, you'll look back on this forum thread and cringe.
Here is the truth you are going to bond with some and with others you may not grow as close to however anyone on here will help you. Pick your mentors and follow them as you progress on HP you will realize that those same people that you felt were picking on you, will be the same ones that may end up being your closest friends here on HP.
keeping with the spirit of the thread, i really appreciate the mention KCC, its very hard to make a list of helpful hubbers, as it really is a very helpful patient community here in the forums
I was going to mention AEvans because she was very active when I first began and is great at creating a welcoming environment for new users. But, I see i was beat on that one.
I dont think I saw Marissa Wright listed, you will find she has been at the top of the list in active users in the Knowledge exchange for a long time..i think maybe in a time zone that doesnt correspond with the highest frequency times for everyone else
You're welcome Sunforged. Marissa is included in my original post. I know there are others, but what fun would a thread be if I made the perfect list? My intent was to start the list and let everyone else add to it. So far, it's going pretty well.
On a personal note, I must have missed the story behind the baby avatar and AEvans is asking if it's a boy or girl. Details.
You aren't the only one who missed out. Definitely want details
I dont have many details yet.
I broke the news here on monday when i we got our first sono
http://blog.hubpages.com/2009/12/the-pa … s-secrets/
Crazydwriter, I am engaged to be married in March..we may be pushing that out a little later in the summer now, so that my fiancee can fit in the dress she wants, lol ..lost twins at 2.5 months last year, so was waiting a bit before being all the way believing, posting the profile photo is a little positive affirmation for me
luckily, i can be the perfect stay at home dad! even started doing research on domains!, lol ...and between internet marketing and my ebay background will probably have a partner (in my partner) when she is out of work
They are trying to help you, 20 your the one getting all defensive over the help.
I love it when you point out all my typos you must get off on it or something. How about this nahgljdh kjhgairehn hlkgnv hal kjagnvl nlhlv how does that make you feel
Stop. You're being silly now. Seriously, play nice.
Class is in, but you're sitting at the back being the class clown.
I'm not pointing out a typo, I want clarification. Effective communication can only happen with a certain degree of literacy. If you can't do a quick read over before you hit submit, then have the decency to explain thing a little more when asked what you've meant.
Are you intentionally being a sock puppet?
Sunforged I just noticed your picture...is someone pregnant? like your wife maybe?
Newbie (sorry, your name is just too difficult to remember and type), please don't take the criticism the wrong way. Think of the "old pros" here as your teachers. If they didn't care about your success here, they wouldn't waste their time posting. Please listen to Darkside and others and read hubs written by experienced hubbers. As for proofreading your work, let your writing "get cold" before proofing. If you proof immediately after writing, your brain will often automatically "correct" mistakes, and you won't see them. I'm a retired lit and writing teacher, and I'm offering you honest advice.
20gsxr05, one of the reasons we enjoy success here at hubpages is a strict level of quality control that equates to an increased authority and pagerank to the site, so when you publish poor quality material you effect us all, if hundreds more of you arrive doing the same thing...we all suffer
As i mentioned, since you picked a certain topic range and used an article spinner you throw up a big SPAM flag..I certainly was not an expert when I arrived and the way this field changes I doubt I ever will be...but the earliest maxim to learn is that quality rules...online and off
what quality means is debatable..but using software to create garbled unreadable text certainly is not it
Try to write an original article about the electrician field...there are some very high paying keywords available and its good niche if you have the knowledge
Why are you still on that subject about the article spinner.I deleted the hub end of discussion.I got it now i will not use a article spinner.Everything else that i wrote works and is something that alot of knowlegde in.Why would i tell you something that doesn't work for you to harp on me some more
Im glad you decided to cut that hub..it makes me believe in your legitimacy more, but you stuck on the wrong part of my comment..I assure you that if you write some articles about electrical work you can get good adsense revenue..especially with your background in traffic generation

Yes, 20! Write about electrical work! Start with something simple like "How to Replace a Ceiling Fan." My husband is an electrician, and believe me, he runs into homeowners all the time who have no clue as to how to do simple electrical work (I'm one of them!). I would think that such articles would be very successful here!
