What one thing do you like best about writing for Hubpages?  How long have you been here?

I have just completed one year few days back.
I like everything about HubPages. It is a great platform to polish your writing skills and you learn so much by reading other's hubs, on a variety of subjects. It gives me a creative satisfaction.

I have only been here for 2 months but I really love the user friendly interface to publish articles, the friendly community and the layout. It's all contributed to me really enjoying writing again as a hobby. I also get a lot of satisfaction when I see people have enjoyed my articles or it has helped them in some way.

I've been on HP for just over 10 months and what I like best is the sense of community that the site provides.  As someone who has lived the majority of his life prior to the inception of the Internet, I'm awed by the fact that I count people from all over the world among my hubber friends.

I appreciate the site as an outlet for my writing, but I really love exchanging thoughts, ideas and information via the comment streams of my hubs and those of so many interesting and knowledgeable writers.

I have found HP to be a supportive community where writers are eager to help other writers, and freely offer advice and encouragement to those who may feel discouraged by the technology, writer's block or other issues.

Although I lack the credentials that would make me an expert in the areas I write about, HP provides me with the opportunity to write from the perspective of a reporter/columnist; able to research a topic and present information in easy to understand prose, with a dash (lol) of opinion and humor.

I don't understand, nor take very seriously, the hub and hubber numbering systems.  I just enjoy participating and am glad to have met you, vocalcoach, and so many other interesting people.  Going forward, it only promises to get better!

I've been here since October 2011.  I've met some phenominal people that have become great friends.  That's the best part of being a hubber.  The other is the support we give and receive from each other, not to mention honing our writing skills.  I like the freedom we have to write on any topic we choose and to spread our wings in various genres.  I love this site!

    Hi Vocalcoach!
In July it will be three full years. It is difficult to choose just one thing, but primarily it is the community at HubPages. When I first started writing on HubPages I was drowning in a sea of desolation. It was good people like you and others (I started listing names, and then realized there were too many, and I would hate to forget anyone), who reached out to my floundering raft and pulled me to shore. I was a writer, but needed the tools provided by HubPages, and direction from the staff and owners that launched me on a smoother craft publication. The seas have their seasons of calm and storm, but I always highly recommend HubPages to any person who is a writer and is in need of community and tools for success. Thank you for this question, and the support you gave me early on. Lori Latimer aka Lillygrillzit & Sweet Beulah Land.

I have been on HP for just over a year now, and I always say that the best feature is the community of writers. I have learnt practically all I know about writing on the Internet, right here on these pages, with the help of many people.
Another really fantastic feature is the Hub tool, all those capsules just waiting to get filled up! Wonderful training, which I now apply on all my writing outside of Hupages. Best thing I ever did was to become a member of this community!

Been here for a year and 2 months to be exact. I like the virtual interactions within our fellow hubbers. I learn things here every time I sign-in. I've met many wonderful people whom I can share with stuff, life lessons, observations and experiences. Most of all, I find that people in this community (like you) are way supportive of each other compared to other sites that I've been.  I can sing my soul here through my writings. Oopps, sorry! You asked for only one thing, eh? Okay, I am creatively free and satisfied here! ♥

I have been on Hubpages for almost two years, but I have taken time off so I would say perhaps 7 months active - if that makes sense. I really enjoy reading other's hubs, but what I truly like best about Hubpages is the format and layout of the hubs. From a style point of view there are so many horrible, hard to read content articles out there. They are bogged down with too many different fonts and colors, binkie things and layout issues. This distracts me from the actual content. I have attention deficit disorder so it is very hard for me to even finish a very short article.
Upon opening a hub, the reader's first impressions are of a professionally written article. I know some Hub authors want to jazz up their work and may resent the current layout and it's restrictions, but this system works and makes our Hubs look great!

I'm at 2 years this month!   Doesn't seem that long.....then again, sometimes it feels like I've ALWAYS been here.   I like so much about it....but, without a doubt....I love the Hubbers best!....especially ones like you, Audrey!

The one thing I love about Hubpages is the Hubbers!! The hubs are awesome and it is so nice to share with others who enjoy writing as well. I have been a Hubber since August of 2009!!
