   How an unpublished hub get pageviews?
   
   I have saved two of my hubs as unpblished.Still page views are there .How it happened?

   Every time you access you hub, whether you edit it or just open it to look at it , that is counted as a view.

   It matters not how many times you view your own hub, it does not count as a view. If this were the case, people would be viewing there hubs like crazy for the traffic. I would suggest writing hubpages about this question. (team@hubpages.com)

      Thanks JThomp42 for stopping by and answering. I am agreeing with you. if viewing and editing our hub several times increases the page views It will definitely go high.Waiting for more answers.If I am not satisfied ,I will forward it to Hub pages.

      This is incorrect.  When you or anyone else views your own hub, it registers as a view.  Whether we like it or not that is how it works.

      WorkAtHomeMums..... of course as writers we would love this to be the case. It would give us much more traffic when we visited our own hubs. Which is not the case.

   Hi Devisree,
                     Certainly for me and others when you view your own hubs for editing and such, you will get credited for a view (this includes your Profile Page). It is also possible for people to reach your unpublished hubs via links to them from your published hubs which happened to me reasonably often with one particular hub.
   
   As an FYI, I raised the fact that I was creating my own views issue with Hub Pages already and they did not believe that this issue was caused by my own looking at my pages. You can fix this through Analytics, but not with HubPages at this time.

      Thanks for answering, Robbie C Wilson. Surprised to know about the page views.As you said the page views may be increased by my visiting the pages in order to edit my hub.Surely I will notice what is happening.

   I think if we view our own hubs, it will nor be considered a view. I am not sure about this issue. I think we will get the correct answer from hubpages itself.
